Tune-In Lounge timing

Hi all! How quick is the turnaround at Tune In Lounge generally? I suppose in two different scenarios -- one with just appetizers and dessert, and another if we got one entree to split?

I just wonder how crowded it is at lunch and if we can get through the experience in enough time to make it to a show. (If it helps, we're looking at a Sunday in the first week of March).

May be the place I enjoy more cocktails than any at Disney.

They gladly pour their hand-made cocktails into a to-go cup.

But I'm not sure I'd be comfortable suggesting you grab food there.

Yes, it's coming from the same kitchen, but the space is VERY noisy as folks are waiting inside the Lounge to be seated for the restaurant that will be 'sold-out'.

And yes, you can sit at the bar and order some food - but then jerks like me are also stopping in and wanting a cocktail to-go...or a cocktail while they wait for their table....

Too much of a zoo for me to suggest eating at the Lounge.

But by all means - order a Margarita to-go!

Aww, I was hoping quick food would be possible. My bf loves peanut butter and chocolate so I was thinking an app and the cake would be great. We don't drink, but maybe we'll stick our heads in to see if we can grab a bite.

Agree with PP. The seating is incredibly limited. If you stick your head in and can find two seats at the bar, you'd probably be okay on timing. The bartenders (also your server at the bar) and the kitchen are pretty efficient.

The first and only time I was there, seating was very limited at lunch time due to people waiting for their table in the AC. This was at 11:30 on a Sunday. If you don't mind waiting a bit as folks are called to their table you should be good. It is a bit noisy and chaotic so appetizers and desserts might be easier for eating at the bar.

The total time it takes to dine there can be quick. The total time it takes to get a seat there can be really, really long. There is no way for anyone to give you an estimate of how long it would take to dine there since no one can tell you how long it will take to get seated. Could be 15 minutes. Could be 115 minutes.

That makes sense. Seating time is a big variable. Thank you!

OK, I can play by your rules....er, ah....needs....

You can have a PB&J Milkshake by going to those same bartenders who make Margaritas.

That milkshake might also make sense having at the bar.....or to-go....if the PB&J Milkshake is your sorta' thing....

My husband and I have and dinner at the bar. Yes we waited a bit for seats but it was a blast eating there. Bartenders are awesome. It is noisy nut it is a fun atmosphere.

Definitely this. We routinely have lunch there when doing the Studios on a day when we do not have an ADR for dinner. We enjoy sitting at the bar, chatting with the bartender, and observing the passing scene. We have sometimes had to wait up 15 minutes or so to get seats at the bar unless we arrive after 1:30 or so. We’ve been there in January, early March, and early June. The crowds are pretty consistent.

Prime time is loud and chaotic anyway. I didn’t really find the lounge to be worse. I do a lot of solo trips and have had a full meal in the lounge and enjoyed it as much as dining in PT. I do usually get there after the lunch rush and waiting for a seat for one is not too bad. But there’s no guarantee. It could be wall to wall people. Have a plan B in mind, just in case.
