Does anyone know which restaurants have tuna tartare or seared tuna on the menu? If you had the dish could you tell me what you thought? And if you had a picture that'd be fabulous.

I'm about to start thinking about my ADRs for August/September and I absolutely adore tuna and we just can't get it seared or raw here like in Florida, because it's not fresh enough. It's such a treat when I'm at WDW and I do like to indulge in it at every opportunity. *tuna crave* :lmao:

California Grill has a Tuna Three Ways appetizer. One of the three ways is tartare and another is seared (I forget the third).

Flying Fish Cafe' had a yellowfin tuna main course, which is best served medium rare, the last time we were there. The menu does change from time to time, but I think the tuna has been a mainstay for quite a while.

DH had it as a special at Narcoosse, but it was "over-seared" DH still liked it but when the server asked how our meal was DH showed him the Tuna (which was almost cooked through) and we got our meal free:cool1:

Flying Fish tuna (it doesn't come with an evil face on it.)

Great! We are going to flying Fish in November and love tuna. Thanks for the picture!

I too was going to suggest the tuna sushi grade at California Grill as well. YUMMMMMM

Chefs de France

"Thon poelle aux olives
Seared tuna (rare) sliced and served with olives and caper sauce, fresh greens and shoestring fries $27.95 "

We enjoyed it. Since you appear to enjoy tuna the proper way -- rare :thumbsup2 -- I'm sure you would enjoy it too.

well yack and yeti has a Seared Ahi Tuna chilled, sesame-encrusted ahi tuna, wasabi aioli, and sweet chili slaw . only bad thing is its a Appetizer.

Another vote for Calif Grill. Tuna three ways is so good, I could eat it every day.

Jiko had a great tuna starter but now it look like it may have been updated:

Seared Ahi Tuna - with African spices, golden beets, watercress, Zough yogurt and South African sea salt $11.00

Blue Zoo has great tuna as well.

I'm definitely going to do Chef Mickeys (for the ice cream!) and Boma, since I never made it last time, which means I need 3/4 more ADRs. I loved Bluezoo last year it was awesome, never had tuna though I think I was all tuna-ed out at that point, although sister didn't enjoy it so I think that's out!

I think I'm going to go for California Grill, Flying Fish and perhaps Chefs De France - love olives and capers, sounds perfect. I'm drooling over my keyboards.

Thanks so much everyone for all the great recommendations. :D

I had tuna for dinner at Coral Reef. Don't know if it's still on the menu. It came very rare and it was good.

Had tuna tartar at Flying Fish last night and it was divine. Enjoyed the dish at FF more than one at CG.

Thanks for the info on California Grill's Tuna Three Ways. I changed my ADRs today to go to the Grill.
