For anyone who had stayed at Wilderness Lodge recently: is it true that they removed the tuna salad sandwich from the menu at Roaring Fork? Quite honestly, it is one of my favorite things to eat at Disney World, and when I looked at the online menu I saw that it was no longer available. On the topic of tuna sandwiches, does anyone know if the Tuna Sandwich at Columbia Harbor House is the same as the one at Roaring Fork? Thanks for your help, and let me know if you're as big of a tuna sandwich fan as I am. :thumbsup2

pretty sure I saw Tuna sand in the cooler area. It wasnt on the menu board, but they had sandwiches and salads in the case. We were just there!

Had the white tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbour House and remember it as the BEST tuna sandwich I have had. Chunky tuna, light on the spread, with lettuce and tomato. Quite large and nothing like lunchroom style.

I don’t think I ever tried the tuna sandwich at Roaring Fork.

I did have the tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbor House several years in a row (2008-2012), and it was outstanding every time. It was tasty multigrain bread slices toasted and filled with yummy tuna salad, and super fresh, ripe and delicious Romaine lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes.

Had pretty much the same sandwich at the Everything Pop food court.

If you can find a sandwich that measures up to either of these, be thrilled! These sandwiches are fantastic and a huge step up from your average tuna salad sandwich. :)

I love the Tuna sandwich at Roaring Forks and I would agree, it is the best at Disney World. If it is gone the one at the PLaza is pretty tasty as well.

I also love tuna salad sandwiches, and always enjoyed the ones at Columbia Harbor House. I've had one from the Plaza, but wasn't thrilled with the croissant it came in. That being said, I do know you can get them at Beaches & Cream, and their sandwiches are delicious.

I had one at Roaring Fork two weeks ago so if it's gone, it's a very recent development.

Thanks for your help! Just out of curiosity, did you get it out of the "grab and go" section or did you order it from the menu?
They had a sandwich area where they made them fresh. You order at the cash register and they make it for you. They also have some pre made in the grab and go area.

I love the tuna sandwiches at Columbia House and The Plaza. I will be sure to try the tuna at Earl of Sandwich. Thanks for the tip Dachsie :)

I've had the tuna sandwich at both Columbia Harbour House and Earl of Sandwich and Earl's is my favorite of the two.

Happy eating!!!
