Tuna Fish - How do you make yours?

Duke's rocks! :thumbsup2 It's the only mayo I use for anything. I could never find it when I lived in Cincinnati so I'd buy a couple of jars every time I came home. Everyone up there swears by Hellman's :crazy2:.

As my hubby said yesterday "Dukes is a religious experience." lol

mayo
touch of mustard
dill relish
hard boiled egg-chopped
celery-minced
dash of lemon pepper

Here's mine
green onion
green pepper
carrots
cheese
just enough mayo to hold it together. If I am having a sandwich and not just on crackers I will put a slice of cheese on top and melt it for a tuna melt. Yum

lots of mustard(so it's actually yellow)
some Kraft mayo
lots of dill relish

over a chopped up tomato with salt and pepper

mayo, a dab of mustard, chopped claussen pickles, white onion, celery, salt and pepper.

I thought of another way I used to make it, haven't done it in forever but I remember it at lunch today. I like to mix tuna with ranch....it's not too bad. I remembered because I had the new buffalo chicken ranch sandwich at subway. lol

Duke's mayo is an abomination...it's disgusting.

For me, tuna is just mixed with HELLMAN's mayo and nothing else.

LOL too funny because these are my two favorite mayo's!

Mayo, grated onion and pepper.

I haven't had tuna with relish in years...may have to make that again!

whole grain mustard, Bick's Zesty Onion Relish, Hellman's Olive Oil mayo.

My tuna is boring....*cue Vince*

Just mayo, relish and tuna. Sometimes I get adventurous and add egg or some onion. My mom like celery in hers.

I usually add some chopped red onion and chopped hard boiled egg along with mayo and pepper. Sometimes I chop a little garlic pickle and add that too. Looking to try some variations.

How do you make your tuna? :)

Just like you, except once in a while I will add a TBS of Jamaican Jerk paste to it.

This may sound gross but it is the only way my 4 kids will eat it.

Tuna
Mayo
bit of lemon juice
garlic powder
lots of curry powder
chopped apples
raisins
chopped celery
chopped onions

It is really, really yummy!

Except for the curry powder(which I just don't like) It sounds yummy.

That's a different twist! I'm gonna try that for sure.

Thanks for the ideas everyone. :)

What does Dukes mayo taste like? Is it more like Miracle Whip? ( I will never be able to say whip or whipped again w/o cracking up since family guy...:rotfl:)

I bet we can't even get Dukes around here.
I also like the spice element added to tuna gonna try that too! I agree with the person that said the pouch tuna is better than canned, so much better.::yes::

I like to start with a nice thick steak. I had a great tuna steak in Hawaii that I have made at home. I will encrust it with macadamia nuts, herbs, garlic and shallots with a little oil on the fish to make it stick. I then sear it in a hot pan ... maybe 30 seconds per side because I like my tuna rare to medium-rare. I'll serve it with some nice jasmine rice and some fresh veggies.

Oh wait. You're asking about canned tuna fish ? Blech. I never touch the stuff. I think it tastes like cat food :cat: and you can't dress it up no matter what you add to it!

It tastes like disappointment. :lmao:

This is my tuna mix:

Hellmons mayo
onion powder
black pepper
chopped jarred jalpeno peppers

If you try this you'll never eat tuna any other way!
