Today is Epcot day. The Hobbs and my family had plans to begin at Epcot and end at Magic Kingdom. Because Tammy is soooo pregnant the Moore’s would meet us later that morning. We made our way towards the Epcot monorail to find the area empty. Once the monorail arrived 4 little boys got out of the front (the driving area) so Jamilah, Kelly, Cameron, and myself just aboard. It’s actually a little scary up there. Those turns from the front – oh boy!!! When I wasn’t looking down it was a nice view. As we got off the monorail we noticed how empty the park appeared! It was supposed to rain all day today – maybe that’s why - we shall see!!! Why is it so hot this early in the morning??? We immediately go into the first line we see (can’t think of the name) by it takes you into a “journey” of the worlds interest into space. It was okay, but I love the part when the car turns and you see the earth – or was it the moon!! I can’t remember, but it sure was beautiful!!!

Our next stop was to find Mission Space. Since the wait was 45 minutes we grab Fast Passes and jump on Test Track. In three words, “It was okay”. Again I think I watched the Disney DVD’s and Disney on the Travel Channel too many times – the element of surprise was gone and I almost knew what was coming next!!! I will admit that nothing prepared me for Mission Space. This is a must experience. The ride is so intense that my ears felt like I was in the air or in the mountains. I really felt like I was out in space!!! Good job Imagineers!!! Oh I wish I could figure out how to get my pictures online – I’ve tried but they are not transferring from Yahoo – because I want to show you all a picture of Chris loosing his breakfast after this ride. It was so funny. He was praying the whole time. Yes I said praying!!! Because everyone was aware that I was doing a trip report and I told Chris I would tell all those on Disboards he was a chicken from any ride (hence: why I called him a scary cat on my pre-trip), he decides to be a Lion this trip. He threw up at least 3 times. Warning: If you become nauseous easily do not ride Mission Space on a full stomach)!!! Some of you are probably thinking how insensitive I am, you are probably correct, but come on people – it was funny!!! His wife couldn’t stop laughing herself!!! And if you knew Chris and how much he ran his mouth – you’d laugh too!!! He was quiet for a good 15 minutes after that!!!

After those rides we decide to experience the worlds. I don’t know where everyone was – probably on rides, but this place was empty. The countries were extremely boring!!! No one outside – very little displays. And all those videos that made these countries interesting were like frauds. It was NOTHING like all those videos. China was interesting. About mid-way thru we saw the Character bus and because hardly anyone was out we got many autographs and pictures. Morocco was my favorite. I bought a few rugs, soap, and soda from Morocco. Jasmine was there – no one was around, so my daughter got to spend some “quality time” with her favorite princess. She was so sweet. She told Jasmine all the toys she has with Jasmine and she showed Jasmine her new Lanyard and she even tried to sing a song from Aladdin before my husband had to drag her away (because people were starting to gather in line) – like Mastercard – that moment was Priceless!!! Jasmine gave her the biggest hug and off we went she was sooooo happy. I promised to buy her a Jasmine costume!! Big mistake that thing is $55. Can U believe?

Why is it this hot outside!!! By now the Moore’s have made their way to the park and we explore Morocco a little more and wait for them. I wanted to eat in Morocco so I could watch my very conservative husband blush while women belly danced – no one wanted to eat there but me – so we (everyone except David) ended up at the Electric Umbrella – Can U believe? We all had the same ole same ole – Veggie Burger, chicken and fries, blah, blah blah!!! (I used the Q & C vouchers here). I could have used the voucher in Morocco too!!! Right now I was thinking – no husband, no children!!! Just me!!!

We had PS’s at Garden Grill for the Ice Cream social. As soon as we arrived we knew we all should have waited and just had a full meal here. It was soooo cool in there (air conditioned cool). It was a few things that I didn’t know about this restaurant. Did you know the Garden Grill spins in a circle? You barely notice it, but it does. It was a really cool atmosphere. As it spins you see different sceneries. You’ll see a Garden, the sun setting, stormy clouds, and a farmhouse with crops, etc. It was really nice. David ordered the Vegetarian meal Special. It looked delicious – I have a picture, but there are not uploading. The Ice Cream was a bit much if you ask me especially from people who just had a “meal.” The character interaction was nothing less than outstanding. They colored with the children, signed autographs, danced, and really had fun entertaining. It was worth the $6.95. Our bill for 6 adults and 4 children (the baby shared) plus 15% gratuity was $83.77. Again I really enjoyed myself, but that’s a lot of Ice Cream. David used a voucher for his meal (the Lunch Kingdom Voucher) and was so full I thought he was going to pass out!!! He said it was delicious. Everyone was full and tired so we opt out of the re-hitching ceremony!!! I actually forgot it!!!! Did I mention how hot it is outside!!!

For all you Epcot lovers don’t bash me, but if I never see Epcot again, I’ll be okay – that place was supppppper boring!! I’m ashamed to tell you what I do for a living, but Disney needs to do some work there. I was ready to go Magic Kingdom, when Tammy suggests we see the Living Seas. What is that people? What I did like was leaving Living Seas and this huge sea plant (I’m really not an idiot – for those that know what it is) walks up to me. I ask “it” if he is the stuff (sea weeds) that is all over me at the beach. It chased me squirting out water – Can U believe??? That was funny – Tammy has that on film!!!

Anyway, we head to Magic Kingdom. Is it just me or does a visit to Disneyworld not really feel like Disney unless you visit Magic Kingdom? Seeing the Castle always does it for me. All the heat and tiresome went away as soon as I saw the Castle!!! What a sight for sore eyes? Lots of the characters are out signing paragraphs, and I just found everyone? They are at Magic Kingdom. Lots of Villains were out too. This was a first for me. Jamilah does not like Villains; she was frightened of Gueston, but not the Beast – go figure – Can U believe? The show at Cinderella Castle is about to begin so we head toward the castle. It was really nice, that was the first time I’ve caught that show. I pretty much got the whole thing on tape. I loved the storyline and how lots of characters were included. My only complaint is the heat – what happened to all the rain???? It really needs to cool down and that poor excuse for a misty fan was a waste of time, money, and energy. I needed a wet ride fast!!!

We enter into Fantasyland and the lines were small so we ride everything – literally!! Our last stop in Fantasy Land was Philarmagic. What a wonderful show. I loved the music, and 3 D viewing. David said he really felt like he was riding Alladins carpet. Great Job Imagineers!!! Tammy is now looking faint, so I suggest they take the key and head home. Both the Hobbs and the Moores return home too. Jamilah wants to go with them so she does. David and I make our way to the front of the park and go up on the Steps of the Train Station and wait for the Spectromagic Parade. I cannot find one word to describe that parade. I just love it!! It’s unbelievably beautiful, overwhelmingly breathtaking, and yes magical. This is the reason I traveled 2 days. If I could rape this moment of emotions up and save it in a box (take it out when necessary) I would be the happiest woman in the world. Wow, if Walt knew what he started he would be so pleased!!! - I’m such a corn ball!!! Today was a good day!!!!
