Tubbies

We ate at Tubbies a couple times during our Oct. vacation. It was mostly late night. We really enjoyed the pizza. Also they serve Krispy Kremes!

Our family loves tubbies - its a cafeteria style fast food restaurant. They have terrific soup and 1-2 homemade items as well as the typical hamburg, hotdog and other fastfood selections. They make a terrific pizza - to order. In addition they have lots of self serve sandwiches and salads. A nice feature is ordering your food and getting the "number" for your table, checking out and relaxing while waiting for your food. Its delivered to the table when ready. I travel alone with my two dd's and this is so much nicer than the food courts where I have to wait for the order and then carry everything through the checkout to the table.

I think allears has the full menu on the dining page.

Love the soups. We've had the potato soup & broccoli/cheese--both were delicious! They also have very good made to order pizza. This is all we have tried there, but everything's been yummy!!

Do they serve breakfast food, too? Where are they located within the Dolphin?

KIS

Tubbie's is open 24 hours a day. They serve breakfast during the morning hours. It is located on the lower level of the West Wing (I think it's the West Wing). I have found Tubbies to be very convenient.

That sounds convenient.

Did you pick-up breakfast to-go on any Early Entry days?

I'm just exploring options.

KIS

We didnt eat much there, but the things that stand out are the breakfast sandwiches, which were wonderful, and the hash browns, which were not very good at all.

Since its a 24 hour place, I would guess pretty early. We had breakfast there on an EE day. Well, DH went over and got stuff, while I got the kids ready, and he brought it back to the room. I know it had to have been around 6:30 and he was able to get a hot sandwich at that time.

Dear CamColt:

That's just what I was thinking we might do. One of us get the sandwiches. The other guide the child through preparation and meet in the lobby, eat on the bus or at the bus stop.

I'm glad to hear that worked for someone else. I feel more confident.

Did you do the fridge, too, at the Dolphin?

KIS

No, we didnt get a fridge there (actually we were at the Swan), however we were given one at the Poly, no charge.
We did have some Pop Tarts in the room and small water bottles and diet cokes. We just kept the drinks in the icebucket, a few at a time, and they were cool enough to drink(I dont like my drinks too cold anyway). :D It worked well for us. Good luck!

CamColt,

Thanks for answering me on that.

I guess I'll have to think over the fridge thing. It seemed the best because my daughter gets hungry at different times and we will sometimes be eating when she's not accustomed to eat.
