TTC to MK question

We are going to WDW for 2 weeks (1 will be off-site and the other on-site). I haven't stayed off-site in eons but remember the lines to the monorail being crowded first thing in the morning. At what time will the monorails start running to the MK? Also, would it be faster if the line is long to get on the "Resorts" monorail and take it to MK instead of the one that goes directly to the MK? Or is that even allowed?

Any help in getting us there for rope drop appreciated!!!

Despite lines, the wait for the Monorail won't be long.

Do NOT take the Resort monorail to get to the MK from the TTC. Those staying at the Resorts need that space. Not to mention, it will take longer, despite any lines for the Express.

Both the Ferry and the Monorail start service at 8:45am, with the TTC rope drop. It is unlikely that you will be unable to get to the MK in time for the MK rope drop.

Thanks for the info. So what time would you recommend being at the TTC?
