TTC to Epcot in AM?

I'm tweeking some plans. We are staying at POR, and have our own car. Generally, we like to drive to the parks. This upcoming trip, we plan to use the Express Bus to hop. My question is this, is it possible to park at TTC in the am, and ride the monorail to Epcot for a 9am rope drop? (We plan to end our day at MK, thus the reason for parking at TTC in the am). Or would the POR buses be better than our car? I've just heard some not so great reports about the busing from that particular resort, especially returning in the evenings.

I've never had an issue with POR buses. Every...single....resort has issues at park closing. When you get that many people, all leaving the area at the exact same time, there's only so much you can offer. And, by the way? You're going to face back ups trying to leave MK via the monorail or boat at closing. First you've got to get to that area, then wait in the hordes of others doing the same thing. Then, travel to the TTC, then get a tram (or walk if you're close enough) to your car, then join the crowds exiting the lot. I've driven my car, but I won't do it if I'm leaving close to park closing!

We have done that. Parked at TTC, monorail to Epcot then hopped back to MK for the Christmas party. Drove the car back to the hotel. But we left the party before it was over.
