I just wanted to update everyone to say our third IUI was BFN again. We are thinking and praying about next steps. Fortunately we have a quick Disney trip in October to look forward to!

to put it plainly, that SUCKS. Thank God for Disney, right?? We went three years in a row....til the treatments started getting way more expensive (IVF) and we couldn't afford Disney as our consolation prize anymore

Let us know what your Dr says about what you should do next, and what you decide.

I haven't posted much on this thread, more of a stalker really, but I just wanted to update and let you all know that our second IUI round resulted in BFP

We saw and heard the babies heartbeat today for the first time, it was absolutely amazing

I'm so sorry to hear about the BFN! Yay for a Disney trip though! That was always our consolation prize too. I hope you have a great time! And I'll be looking forward to hearing what you decide the next step is.

My first IUI is tomorrow y'all. Second one for this cycle is on Saturday. Please keep us in your prayers if you don't mind.

Oh and I forgot to update about my follicle check. I have four follicles. Two were ready yesterday and the other two weren't far behind. My lining sucked though. 5.8 they like to see it at 7 or above so my doctor put my on some estrogen pills ($35 AFTER insurance...geez). For my other two IUI's last year I triggered on CD11 but she wanted me to wait for my lining and those other two eggs to catch up so she gave it an extra day. So I'll be triggering in about an hour and like I said above, IUI's tomorrow and Saturday morning.

My appointment went awesome on Friday!!! Our Dr is giving us a generous discount!! This means that we will be able to afford to proceed as soon as my AF arrives!

It is a long process, with bcp for a couple weeks, then lupron, the estrogen patches & shots, then progesterone and TRANSFER. So I expect transfer to take place around the 1st or 2nd week of November.

Update on our IUI's. Had IUI #1 on Friday with 200k sperm post wash. IUI #2 was Saturday with 750k sperm post wash. I'm not feeling very optimistic about this. One min I'm feeling good about it and the next I'm not. I hate this roller coaster. I guess I'll be testing on October 8th so we'll see what happens I suppose.

I am no longer going in Oct. We are waiting for November to go. 6 days!

Nov. 10-16.

I wanted to go so bad, but bills and everythng got in the way. We had a big fight. I am so sick of this. Sick of debt. Sick of my husband. There I said it. I don't even know if I want to ttc ever again. It's too much for me.

The twins are doing better than our surrogate. Really strong heartbeats so we are blessed but some days very guarded.
Jessica (our surrogate) has been vomiting for 3 days. The doctor told her to try Emertrol an OTC drug and if that doesn't work he will call in a script. Thank you for asking

Sounds like you were having a bad day. We all have them, especially in the land of IF. How are things now?
