I am so very sorry. My heart breaks for you. I just read your blog.

In November we were setting up a bedroom for our adopted son. We had waited for "J" for 3 years, named him, purchased all we needed had our flights and then received the call. Our son's Grandparents had decided to raise the baby, our baby. He was gone in an instant.

The loss was overwhelming. It was different than our miscarriages because the baby was here, we knew his face and the worry for him is still with me everyday.

If I can help you in any way please let me know :grouphug:

I want to give you a REALLY big hug right now:hug:

Cher - I'm so very sorry. My thoughts are with you. You don't deserve all this heartache!!!! No one does!

On a happy note, 2 of our graduates - Mamasnowwhite (Rose) had her daughter this week. Mama and baby are doing fine. And Elise (Esbrick) had her son on Thursday. 8lb of bouncing baby boy. Mama and son are doing fine.

Sorry I haven't been around much. Life got in the way.

After my surgery at teh end of the year, we should be cleared to try again.

We went to the D23 Convention. It was super fun!

Cher - I have been a follower of your blog for awhile now. My heart is broken for you and your husband. Your courage and strength through all of this has amazed me. I am praying your miracle is right up the road.

Wow Gabbie, sounds fun! Sorry it was a no - hopefully the surgery will give you some answers. We will be at WDW in October as well for MNSSHP and F&W - what are your dates? I am assuming the beginning of October since you are celebrating WDW's 40th. We will be there Oct. 13-17.

Yay for new babies!! I thought Elise was having twins? What happened!?

She lost one of the babies at a few weeks into the pregnancy I believe. But so happy that her baby boy was finally born, and for MommaSnowWhite and her little girl! Miracles happen!

For those that do not follow my blog, we got some excellent news yesterday! We had been on the donor embryo list at my RE's office since even BEFORE our 2nd IVF. I knew we were number 5 or 6 on the list at the time of our BFN with IVF #2....so I called Friday to see where we were on the list.

Yesterday the nurse called me back and offered us 3 embryos!!!!!!!!! We do not have to pay for these. They have been donated. In Louisiana it is illegal to destroy embryos, so my clinic has a program where people can donate their leftover embryos to another couple (whom the clinic chooses) if they no longer want to keep them.

The couple is so much like us in their physical characteristics!! And the embryos have only been frozen for 4 years! When I first heard about the donor program, I was told that typically the embryos you receive are 7 years old or more. So 4 years is wonderful!! And this couple had twin girls 4 years ago!! The embies are expanded blasts, 2 are grade 3 and 1 is grade 4.

Hopefully we will be doing a FET within the next couple of months!!

That is fantstic news Cher! I just know this is a turning point for you and all that heartache you've experienced was because "it wasn't your time". But now it IS!!! I can feel it. :woohoo::woohoo:

Cheri, I was just about to tell you how sorry I am about your adoption, but then I read the post about the FET!! What wonderful news!! Wishing you the very best!

Cheri ~ as you well know, I'm super excited for you!

AFM ~ Follie check is tomorrow. I'm not sure what I'm hoping for. I guess at least 2 follicles. I think I might be afraid if there's 3 or more but I highly doubt that. This week is dragging!!! And the next two are going to be pure hell!

Cheri - that is wonderful news! Good luck

thanks everyone!! :grouphug:

We were offered a 2nd set last week!!! They are close to us too in characteristics but the embryos have only been frozen for a year!! They used a 31 year old egg donor so my dr suggested we go with this set!

Consult on Friday to talk about the cycle and confirm our choice (after asking questions) and we could be on our way to finally transferring a BLASTOCYST soon! Well probably TWO of them! :yay:
