TTC question

Hey guys I am staying at fort wilderness next week and I want to go to sea world . I know they have a lynx bus that takes you from the ttc center to sea world. I think i would take the boat over to the magic kingdom then how do i get to the ttc. thankyou

You can either take the monorail from MK to TTC or you can take the big ferry.

Do the buses from AKL take you right to the MK or to the TTC - we are going to Sea World too.

Buses from AKL go right to the gates at MK... so you'll have to get off the bus, and take the monorail or ferry over to TTC.

Another way to get to the TTC is to find a way to get to the Poly. If you're at the Poly, the TTC is right next door on the east side of the Poly. The resort loop of the monorail has a stop at the TTC, and may be less crowded than the direct MK-TTC monorail.

Going to the Polynesian would just add extra time to your trip from either the AKL or FW. Just take the express monorail or ferry from the MK to the TTC.

The resort monorail stops at the CR and TTC before going to the Polynesian so that would be especially silly.

I don't understand how it's silly to take the resort loop, wait through the stop at CR, then hop off at the TTC? Why would one go to the Poly from there, then walk back to the TTC (I never suggested this)? The resort loop is often much less crowded than that direct MK-TTC monorail. If it means waiting through the CR stop, it is often worth taking the resort loop to avoid having to wait for the next direct monorail train because the direct monorail is too crowded.

My reference to being at the Poly was meant if they somehow got there by some other means, such as the little boats from MK or by bus from some other place like AK. I don't believe there are any buses that go directly to the TTC anymore.

The little launches are delightful but would take much longer IMO. First stop is GF, then the Polynesian and then a 10 minute or so walk IF you know the way to the TTC.

You're right no resort buses go to the TTC anymore except for SOG. Until recently there was a bus from FW/WL to the TTC which would have worked great for the OP but now it only runs to the TTC after the MK has closed if guests from the Hoop need to get back. There are still buses from the AK and MGM to the TTC so for lsmaggy, taking a bus to one of those parks and transferring to a TTC/MK bus could work as you said. Personally I'd rather take the ferry or express monorail but YMMV.

I really don't think taking the resort monorail for folks going to the TTC is a good idea. If you've noticed the monorails often seem to stop at the CR for quite a while these days. On either the ferry or Express monorail you would get there faster IMO. I've wondered if the long stop at the CR is intentional to discourage people from doing what you suggest.

But again sorry that I misunderstood and silly looks a lot harsher than I meant it to be!
