TTC or another Towncar Service?

I know a lot of folks have loved using TTC on their trips. Everyone convinced me to try them las year for our November trip, rather than use MEARS. Though we DID enjoy the convenience, we had several problems with TTC...which after relaying the info to Debbie, were resolved.

I am, however, a bit nervous about using them again for our October trip. Anyone have any suggestions on other Towncar Services or do you think I should give TTC another shot?

Like I said, Debbie did try to make up for the problems but the uncertain reliability might drive me crazy.

I'm interested in this thread as well since the last time I used TTC there was a problem that has left me nervous about using them again. Can anyone give suggestions for other reliable towncar services?

I'd give Tiffany's another try. Call and speak with Debby directly and remind her of your previous problems. Chances are the problem was caused by a driver that is no longer employed with Tiffany's. We've used Tiffany's quite a few times and have lots of friends that have used Tiffany's with no problems whatsoever. I think if you talk to Debby directly ahead of time it should alleviate any of your worries.

Please note I have not used either of these.

Payless Towncar is another option. Here is a link from a few weeks ago.

I too have my reservations about whether to go with TTC since I've read posts from people that have had problems with drivers not showing up when they were supposed to. (even a specifi driver that others had reccommended) That scares me off!

I'm holding off till Oct when Duet uses them and posts about their service, but till then, here is a link about them. They also have a coupon, offer the 30 min. grocery stop, and I think even priced less than TTC.

Thanks for the link! The first time we used Tiffany they were great, no problems. The second time the driver messed up on our arrival time and we were left stranded at the airport. Eventually they sent in another driver, but not until my husband became very firm on the telephone. They made restitution which was the right thing to do, but I'm still a little nervous. I think I'll look into some other companies.

I always book my clients with happy limo and to date they have all been happy customers. no problems.

I too have read about some problems with Tiffany so, I went with IBEX for my Feb. trip. I have only seen good things about them. I emailed the reservation and heard back from the owner within 6hours and we are all set!

I've used Florida Town Car twice, as well as TTC. I prefer Florida Town Car because we had the same driver both ways & they called the resort the night before we left to confirm. However, as far as I know they have no discounts. Their website is: www.floridatowncar.com

We used Happy Limo last year and it was excellent. The tip is included in the round trip fare and they will make a stop for 15 minutes. We did have the same driver both ways. He was very much a gentleman and dressed beautifully. I will use them again this year!

After reading the boards and seeing the problems folks were having with Tiffany we used Happy Limo for our July trip. We were satified with the service. There was a 15 minute grocery stop and we had the same person going and coming. As a surprise to my family I got the Limo. It was lovely! I would highly suggest them.

Thanks for telling me more about Happy Limo. I understand that the tip is included, so will you definetly get the same driver both times? Did you feel pressured to hurry up and get your shopping done in 15 minutes? Each time we had our grocery stop we may have been 15 minutes tops. How about for you? Thanks again for the info!
