Hi all..this is my first post on the forum and I'm trying to get my arms around all the planning--this is our first trip to Disneyland. It is me, my DH and our 4-year old princess. We booked a 9:30 breakfast at Ariel's Grotto on Wed., but realized that's the same day as the Mickey Toon Town morning we have entry to with our package. Disneyland opens at 9 that day, so I think we can get into TT at 9--how long would you recomend spending there and how long would it take us to get back to CA for breakfast? We'll need to push our Ariel's breakfast out..just wondering if you have a suggestion on timeframes. We dont' want to do it on another day, as we are only there on a Tues-Thurs and plan on using the MM on Tues/Thursday and having breakfast with Minnie one of those days.

Your going to need longer then 30 minutes to do TT. I would save AT LEAST an hour. Then going from one park to another.. Maybe like 15 minutes to get there.. if you go STRAIGHT there.. but there may be distractions on the way.. characters.. small lines.. bathroom.. ect. I would do maybe 10:30 or 11:00.

Also, do you get to meet many characters at Toon Town? We are trying to decide whether to book the Minne breakfast in addition to Ariel's or if we will have the chance to meet the characters at Toon Town?

Toon Town has Mickey's and Minnie's house and they are usually there (I think) so you will see at least them. The other will walk through sometimes but not sure on when they will be where. City Hall may have a schedule when you go though.

Toontown you can go into the characters houses. Honestly Minnies is my favorite breakfast. I would tell you to do it no matter what. The characters are great there and I really dont mind the food. Minnies I have seen Minnie mouse, Fairy god mother from cinderella, captain hook, chip, dale, pooh, tigger, eeyore, pinnocio, and randomly some others from various movies. The character interaction is GREAT!!!!

10:30 will probably be the latest seating they will do at AG for bfast, you might get a 10:40 if you're lucky. :) If you can't do the bfast at AG, do lunch instead. We in fact prefer lunch over bfast there. The bfast is good, but lunch is much better. :)

Minnie's breakfast does have a great variety of characters. We saw all the above mentioned characters minus Pinocchio, but did see Briar Fox. My son and I had a blast and the food was really good.

Thank you all for the suggestions! We are going to book the Minnie's breakfast and move Ariel's to a lunch---I appreciate all of the replies!

At the last Toontown Morning Madness I did in November everyone who was in the little show they did came out to greet people. Pluto, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Donald.

Mickey and Minnie were on the porches of their houses, the others in different places around Toontown.

before the show they had Pluto, Minnie, Mickey and Goofy out.

I had seen the area before and didn't do much more than meeting the characters. I was out again after about 45 minutes. They do a little show that takes about 10 minutes at around 15 minutes after the Early Entry started.
