Anyone there today or this weekend? I'm using July 4th weekend to gauge the wait times for Christmas. Keep seeing TSMM at 50 mins. Wanna confirm...

If so, I'll use my FP+ for ToT, RnR and the Frozen musical and do standby.

I definitely would not gauge Christmas based upon the times this weekend. They've been abnormally low for a holiday weekend. We were in WDW from June 3-13 and TSMM consistently had wait times in the 90-120 minute range that week (the only exception being when it went down and reopened while we were passing by -- we rode 3 times in less than 30 minutes).

Agreed, do not use it as your gauge. We just got home today (were there since June 17th) and were also in Disney for Christmas 2015. They're both crowded more than usual, but Christmas takes it to a different level of crowded. TSMM is helped tremendously by the 3rd line. Between RnR and TSMM, unquestionably use your FP+ for RnR. It's lines were consistently longer. We did TSMM just a few days ago standby. It was roughly 10 or 11am and we waited about 15 minutes...if that.

There is no comparison between this weekend and Christmas week.

If you'll be at the gates at least 45 minutes before the park opens, ride TSM standby. Otherwise, I would fastpass it.

you should not be gauging wait times for christmas based on the 4th of july.
between christmas eve and new years day are more crowded than 4th of july.

Interesting. Thanks for the input, everyone. We do Christmas every year but have never been for July 4th. Always assumed (you know what they say) that it's similar in crowds.

We usually do DHS one night for TSMM, ToT and Star Tours FP+, then go to Fantasmic..

Then we do a morning and do RnR, ToT and Frozen musical. Looks like we'll stick to our plan. If it ain't broke, we won't fix it.

Figured we may be able to squeeze DHS into one day. Oh well.
