TSMM at park closing?

Hi, folks. I'm up to my neck in trip planning, so I appreciate all the help I've gotten from these boards. But I have another question: what kind of wait times can you expect on TSMM if you get in line near park closing time, and during/just before the nighttime events at DHS?

Any other info about TSMM wait times, at other times of the day, would also be appreciated. Thanks!

TSMM gets really emptied out near closing time. Everyone gets in place to watch the Star Wars fireworks or is at Fantasmic. I have been there twice at that time and it was so empty that the cars weren't full.

We were just there and when we finished our 3 FPs we booked a 4th for TSMM - it was close to walk on around 8pm. We ended up going on again and it was a walk on. It was wonderful. Plus we did make some of the Start Wars fireworks.

They don't. No rides close anymore for the fireworks

I agree. We were just at Disney for over two weeks. It was an easy fourth fp.

Yes - I was shocked because there are many rides at HS. It was great.

We're generally able to ride TSMM 4 times during the last hour of operation. Just be aware that they close off almost all of the waiting area which makes the line appear to be much longer than it actually is. This plus an inflated posted wait time discourages a lot of potential riders.
