TS resale timing

How long is the time between responding to a TS resale, and actual closing? Just looking for an average...

We made an offer on 8/8, the seller accepted on 8/9 and we're still waiting for closing documents to close.

Offer made July 11/07
Passed ROFR July 26/07
Closing docs emailed to me Aug 21/07 (problem with my email and I did not receive them, they were emailed again on August 31/07)
I sent bank draft and signed documents back by express post on Sept 1/07
Closed on September 11/07
Received Pin on September 18 by email.
Booked first reservation on September 19. Welcome Home!

Probably a week shorter if you live in the States.

My timeline (copied from another post) Important events bolded:

7/25 9 am see contract by 12 noon same day offer was accepted
7/28 Owners have paperwork in to TTS already
7/30 TTS receives my deposit and submits to RoFR
8/08 Pass RoFR
8/15 Find out about credit union snafu and get loan papers from TTS
8/17 Get my hubby back briefly from the Army and fill out paperwork
8/21 Overnight to TTS
8/22 TTS calls we're approved for the loan
8/23 I get closing docs via email *squeek*
9/12 Final close
9/18 In Disney System


I could have reached final close sooner but we were rearranging our financing - between the Labor Day Holiday, and people taking vacation time at the bank and then at Timeshare Closing: it got pushed back some

For the most part I seem to have been fast tracked.... LOL

August 3-Documents faxed back by us and seller
Contract goes to Disney for ROFR
August 14(?)-Passed ROFR
September 6-Emailed closing documents (they were sent August 28, but I never got the email)
September 6-Mailed back signed documents and check
September 14-Get email from Timeshare Closing Services that we've closed
September 24-Get Welcome package in the mail from DVC
September 25-I called Member services and we were in the system with points

The timelines listed here are fairly close to mine. It took about 8 weeks to make my first ressie once my offer was accepted. That's the longest 8 weeks ever!!!
