TS for Grand Gathering Specials?

Can you use your Table Service credits for the special Grand Gathering events such as the International dinner and the Fireworks Voyage? Or do these have to be paid out of pocket?

We were told that we could use 2 TS credits for many of the GG events, except the Fire Works Cruise. Just call Disney Dining and ask to speak with a GG "specialist." And have a wonderul time!!
