Going to MVMCP Thurs. Nov 30., Liberty Tree Tavern is completely booked.

Would I have time for dinner at Chef Mickey's (if it's available)? :confused3

Any other suggestions?

Thank you :)

Oh No! We're going to MVMCP the same day, and I just submitted my request for dinner reservations at Liberty Tavern. I guess we won't be dining there. :confused3

I'd love to hear some other suggestions too!

We had a very nice meal at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian one year before MVMCP. The monorail ride there and back was easy and quick.

I agree that Kona is a lovely (and easy) choice, but tell us what you'll be doing/where you'll be before dinner so we can make more informed suggestions!

I will say, just to give a general opinion, that one year we ate at Tony's (beforee MNSSHP) and last year we ate at LTT before MVMCP -- THIS year we've decided that we will be in MK earlier that day and that we will do an early CS dinner at CHH. In our experience, we found that a nice, big meal before the party meant that we had no room for trying the treats at the parties and that we had to "work off" our meal for a while before wanting to hit BTMR and SM -- so we decided not to do a TS dinner before MVMCP....

We'll also be at the MVMCP on Nov 30! We're having a late lunch at Kona's, then if we get hungry later, we'll get a hotdog at Caseys!! And we have to leave plenty of room for our cookies and hot chocolate!!!

Have a great trip - maybe we'll see ya there!!

I love CP so we are eating there before MVMCP. I did think about CM but I wasn't sure of the time involved and thought it might be easier to stay in the park.

We are going to be at MVMCP Dec 19th and have decided to slip over to 'Ohanas for dinner at 5 and then come back. I hope this works!

We didn't do a TS at our last trip to MVMCP, but rather ate at Cosmic Rays. We arrived early at MK, got our wristbands to indicate we had the tix to stay for the party, and when the time came we went to Cosmic Rays, enjoyed the show and actually got to do all of Fantasyland before alot of the guests showed up for the party.

We are going to MVMCP on 12-21 and are going to CP before hand . we are also celebrating DH's 39th birthday that day.... Can't wait!!!!

:thumbsup2

What about an early dinner at 1900 Park Fair? 'Ohana is such a big and heavy meal that I prefr to be able to just take it easy after that meal (which is so not how we do MVMCP ;) )

We personally prefer to do a CS meal before MVMCP (we did Pecos Bill's last year but this year we are planning on doing CHH)

Thanks for all the helpful responses! Maybe a counter service dinner is a

better option. I guess I was concerned that those would be REALLY busy

anytime after 4:00 on MVMCP days. :confused3 I'm probably better off

waiting in a CS line than rushing through a TS dinner and trying to get back

to MK.

BTW...
We are going to 1900 Park Fair another night, I've heard great things about it.

We our doing MVMCP on 12/14. Eating a late breakfast at Chef Mickeys and doing CS for dinner.

Dec 2006 POFQ

We have gone to CP for the last seating before the park closes to the non ticket holders and that has worked out great, the place is not busy and you can enjoy a nice dinner. When you are done the park has cleared out.

Another option is to eat at one of the monorail resorts. We are going to 1900 Park Faire at 5 pm, plenty of time to get to the party!

What about the Plaza? They should be taking reservations until around 5, unless they are booked. Good luck with your decision and have a great time.

MK is not closing early for this party. Non-ticket holders will be allowed to stay until 7:00 when CM's start checking wrist bands. There are threads about ticket holders concerns with this new policy. Unfortunately, the park won't be cleared out until the party has already started. :sad2:

We are going to MVMCP on 12/12 first is dinner at CG at 5:30. We did this last year and worked out perfect. The CG was quiet as it just opens at 5:30, then we got to to MVMCP at 7:15 or so. We waited on line maybe 5 minutes to get in to the MK. It was a great night, can't wait to go again this year.

Sorry, I sounded kind of negative in my last post. I'm thrilled to be going to

WDW and especially MVMCP. :santa: I know we'll have a great time no

matter where we eat dinner. I may attempt ADR's for some of the great

places you've suggested, but if there's no availability we'll just do CS.

Thanks for your help!
