Infrequent flier here. I'm trying not to panic. In place of panic I'm trying to be proactive, in the event TS Danny becomes something stronger. I feel like if I can do something, I'm more under control. The scary thing is, I'm the calmest flyer of the three of us, so my mom and DD will be looking to me to be the leader. I'd like to feel like I'm prepared for whatever may come my way.
We're scheduled to fly from NJ to FL on Sunday morning. What do I need to do in advance of Sunday to be prepared for whatever may happen and what should I expect? Do I need to have copies of both my Disney and airline insurance we purchased? Should I get to the airport on time for my 8 a.m. flight, even if they say it's been pushed back? If they cancel my flight, what are my options? Any advice from our all star list of frequent travelers here on the TB would be much appreciated.

BTW, I started packing my carryon about 2 months ago (so I wouldn't forget anything) and my suitcase about 3 weeks ago. Apparently, I did forget something -- the important information I already had.
Thanks again to all. Nice to have people who will save you from yourself.
