I'm attending a convention in July from the 18th-22nd. We're staying at the convention site (Hilton Disney Springs area) for the above dates but want to do a split stay for after the convention 23rd-28th to go to the parks.
The convention site is a bit pricey and we want to get the perks (extra magic hours, fast passing earlier, not having to rent a car and pay for parking, etc) so we want to move on site. We're currently looking at the values and possibly Swan and Dolphin.
I was curious about the walk from Hilton to Disney Springs. We were thinking of walking to the bus stop at DS from Hilton in order to catch a bus to our hotel. I'm assuming luggage wouldn't be allowed on a bus or is frowned upon? We may just need an uber or a taxi to take us there.
