Hello,
Sooooo....we will be in Disney for 5 nights, but there are 6 nighttime activities I would like to make it to. I really want to see Pandora at night after dark when everything glows, but am wondering if I can make it from AK to another park for a nighttime show? Maybe EPCOT for a 9 p.m. Illuminations? My understanding is that it gets dark by 6 and then by 7 or so we could leave AK. How long does it take to get from AK to EPCOT? The Star Wars fireworks are at 8:30 at Hollywood and also a possibility. Any thoughts?

Not sure what month you are going - definitely depends on crowds. If you are driving or taking a cab then you can definitely make it to either Epcot or HS within 45 minutes including leaving, driving, parking and getting through security in the new park. If you are taking the bus it could be less or much more depending on the wait.

Can you provide more information...what dates for trip, where are you staying, form of transportation, how many in party? And what are the 6 night time activities? I am sure plenty of people on these boards will know which you can combine.

But, I would suggest you not try to squeeze things in. It is much better to relax and enjoy any one event than worry about rushing off to the next one.

Sorry - more information would have been helpful! We will be there November 4-9 and there are just two of us - both adults. We would be using the Disney bus system.
I'm trying to squeeze in:
Pandora after dark
MK Fireworks
Star Wars Fireworks at Hollywood
Fantasmic at Hollywood
Illuminations at EPCOT
Jingle Bell Jingle BAM at Hollywood

Any suggestions are appreciated!!! :)

Just my opinion, Pandora after dark is beautiful, but it’s not worth a special trip. If the nighttime shows are a priority for you, I would skip Pandora. If you’re already in Pandora doing rides, it’s cool to see, but I don’t think it would be worth rushing around just to see it and then hurry off somewhere else to get to a show. Good luck deciding and I hope you have a great trip!

One other thought, are there 2 showings of Fantasmic on any of your nights? Then maybe you could do Fantasmic and one of the HS fireworks shows on the same night!

We made a special trip to see Pandora after dark. We didn't think it was anything special; in fact, we thought it was MUCH more impressive in the daylight. We scheduled 60 minutes for Pandora after dark and were done in about 15... enough time to drop into Nomad Lounge for a drink and still make it to Rivers of Light with time to spare.

I think you can easily do Pandora and Illuminations on the same night. Daylight savings time will be over, so it will be plenty dark by 6:00 and you should be able to get to EP in plenty of time to get a spot. It's also much easier to find a spot for Illuminations than any of the other shows.

For the last 2 years, during the Holidays ( early November to at least mid December) Jingle Bell Jingle Bam replaced Star Wars Fireworks. Have not read if that will happen again this year, but they are projected onto the same buildings so would expect only one of the shows going on.
They have posted that Jingle Bell Jingle Bam starts November 6th. Last year, I believe the last show of SWAGS was Nov 8 and then no show for 2 or 3 nights as they switched over the show.
If that is correct and the dates are similar, your problem is solved as you have one less show.
The website lists SWAGS showing up to Nov 5 and no show after that. You would have to see SWAGS Nov 4 or 5.

I just checked park hours and sunset times for your trip and it's definitely doable.

It's a bit of a puzzle because Fantasmic is playing once every night, Star Wars two nights, JBJB three nights, HEA three nights and Illuminations all nights, BUT, you can make it work! Plus, sunset starts about 5:40 pm each day, so it will be dark early.

Here is one way you could do it:

11/4 - Fantasmic
11/5 - Star Wars
11/6 - HEA
11/7 - JBJB
11/8 - Pandora late afternoon (I would be at the EP bus stop at AK no later than 7 pm), then Illuminations

On 11/8, if you don't mind splurging a little, you could uber/lyft/Minnie Van to Beach Club and walk into EP via IG to save on driving time and walking time from the FW entrance back to WS.
