Trying to locate Flying Fish CMs

Hi All,

Our favorite restaurant on property is Flying Fish Cafe, and we were disappointed last August when we found out that for our next annual trip (as in, 2-ish months from now), it would be down for renovations. I don't even want to think about what it will look like when it's done, (I hate when Disney takes something that is *perfect* in my mind, and changes it completely), but in the meantime....
We have really had wonderful service and wonderful conversation with 2 bartender CMs, Craig and Lorna on our multiple visits, and I was wondering if anyone knows where they have been placed during the rennos? They both mentioned that they'd be elsewhere during this time and we'd love to run into them when we're there in August. Can anyone help me out? Thanks so much!

1) The whole staff has been split among several locations within WDW.
2) Sorry, but WDW will not tell you where which staff member has been "deployed".
3) After all, they do not know your intensions for asking (could be malicious).
4) As for temporary moves,
. . . some went to other Signature eateries
. . . most went to regular TS locations
. . . I know, personally, of three that ended up at character meals

1) I hope so, too.
2) Many of the dishes must change due to price increases.
3) The DDP reimbursements were not enough to cover all the raising costs.
4) So, SOMETHING has to change to equalize the cost structure.
5) Don't know if that means cheaper ingredients or smaller portions.
6) But, it has to be one or the other.

NOTE: DDP reimbursements change once per year, and the eateries must "eat" any losses or lowered profit margins during that time. The DDP contracts run from October for Disney-owned eateries and December for non-Disney-owned eateries.

A recent article about the new head chef says it will reopen "late summer."

We ate at the Flying Fish in 2012 and it was pure magic! Loved the whole experience and I want to go again in October so I sure hope it opens by then.

JUST after flying fish went down for the renovation we saw Lorna at Crew's Cup in the Yacht club (not sure if she's still there by now)
And one nice gentleman bartender from Flying Fish... but his name escapes me right now ... it might be Craig, but I can't recall went to the Wave Bar (in Contemporary Resort) - but again that was a few months ago, he might have moved again my now
