Trying to get a reservation

I've been trying to get a reservation at just about any resort restaurant for March 25 - April 10 and it impossible unless you want to eat at 9:00pm. Yuck! Any idea why and suggestions on what to do? Thanks Canadian Tom

Try looking for a different number of people and run up and down the times, as well as lunch/dinner. And just keep looking.

Sign up for *********** if there is a particular restaurant that you want. Otherwise....just keep checking. Things open up.

Check the day before you want to eat. Lots of people drop reservations then to avoid the no-show charge.

How many people? I am finding a lot of lunch availability for 4. Sometimes if we book a last minute trip, we make lunch our main meal because it is easier to book than dinners.

Also just keep looking, especially after 9PM and before 6am and in the few days before you want to book, as people cancel all the time.

Dining opens 60 days prior and that is when many people book.

We have a party of 8 and sometimes it was harder to find reservations. I sometimes split us up 4 & 4 or 6 & 2 to accommodate, so I could get the restaurants we wanted.

Check OpenTable for some Disney Springs as well as those at Swan/Dolphin/Reserve

I just looked up a party of 4 for 7:00pm today and Sebastian's, Toledo', Trail's End, Whispering Canyon and multiple others were available.
Same for tomorrow, heck a Space 220 was available at 6:20 tomorrow. Haha
Just keep refreshing and looking everyday until you land something you like!

Check party of 2, 3 and 4. Often one will show availability when the others won't.

As above, if nothing available for party of 2, check for 3 and then for 4. There's no penalty for showing up with 2 when you have a table for 4 reserved - it's a well-known glitch with the Disney dining reservation system.

Great point @Scubadaddy32 and @CarolynFH that is another ongoing problem with the ADR system.
