Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the plant. It didn't occur to me until I got home. I will try to describe it and state that it is a very common leafy plant at the world.

There is what looks like a central trunk/woody stem that many of these leaves come off. The smaller plants are close to the ground and you really don't see this "trunk". As the plant gets bigger the trunk looks like a minature palm type trunk but it has a bunch of tentacles that reach back into the ground. The leaves are large and beautiful. No flowers just green leaves. Very tropical.

I am kicking myself for not taking a picture. I can't find a picture of it anywhere on the net.

Does anyone know a site that has the WDW landscaping plants with pictures and names? As I said this plant is all over the place

It could be a sago palm. I have a small one in a pot on my patio and I protect it in the garage in very cold weather--even so, it did get some frost damage on a night that wasn't supposed to get too cold.

Mine doesn't yet have the "palm" trunk. I'm hopeful I can keep it alive until it does.

Thanks for replying Laurie but that's not it. I have a sago palm I planted last year. I guess I'm trying to recreate Typhoon Lagoon in my back yard. :beach:

In the plant I'm looking for the leaves are about the size of an Elephant Ear but shaped differently. I took a million pictures at WDW but can't believe I didn't take a picture of this plant.
