Trying to cancel a WDW vacation package!

I have been trying to cancel our vacation package for the last hour. Every time I try it says "Just Need More Time". I am not going to wait over an hour on hold to speak to someone at disney. Any recommendations?

The OP is trying to cancel online and the system won't let them.

I'm not sure anyone here can help you if the system isn't working and you don't want to wait on hold. Waiting on hold seems the only option.

Another option is just to leave things as is and when your 30 day payment is due, just not pay it and hope that Disney cancels for you and refunds your deposit. Just not sure when you trip is though so you may need to wait a long time for that to happen.

I had the opposite problem. I could cancel online, but I couldn’t move the trip dates (like I wanted to).

Is your modify reservation button working? If it is, change the date of your trip and then see if the cancel button will work. Sometimes that helps.

I remember the days, you could call disney and talk to a CM within 5 or 10 minutes. Now it takes HOURS? Sorry, but this is not acceptable. Can someone send an email? I don't have time to wait a few hours on hold.

You could use the online chat option when it’s open. I find that to be better than calling when it’s an option.

You could also try right when the phone lines open at 7am ET. That's usually a less busy time to try.
