trying not to panic, blood test results, and DD worries

Sorry to hear your DD has not been feeling too great ... hope you get some answers when you speak to your doctor x

Sending you both lots of :hug:

Hope things went ok at the Doctors.

Hi everyone,
firstly a big thank you for all your concern and messages today, its so sweet and thoughtful of you all:hug:
I am pleased to say it looks like I was worrying over nothing! Actually I'm a little bit angry about it. We walked into the doctor and he acted like he didnt have a clue why we were there. He looked over the test results and couldnt see anything significantly wrong. There was 3 low markings next to results, 1 for thyroid, 1 for white blood cell count and the other i dont know, but he thinks they are not low/high enough to warrant further investigation.
I pushed the issue of how cara has been feeling and that we needed to do something and he has referred us to the mental health unit for cara to see a child psychologist, hopefully the wait won't be too long.
So relief that physically we know she is ok, not anaemic or anything else, and a step in the right direction for the other stuff. But I am annoyed that essentially the doctor hadn't looked at the results at all. i have a hunch that the receptionist thought it might be the best way to get the matter dealt with, and in the process scared me half to death!
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you all, I was over at my other half as he had the boys and by the time i got there he was ready to feed all of us and play with the kids, essentially to let me switch off for a couple of hours, think he knew i was at my limits today bless him.

Thankyou all again xxx

So glad to hear the positive results. Now on to the next step, Claire.

Glad all is ok claire :) Good Luck with the future step x

Oh you must be relievedxxx

Hope you manage to get the next step sorted asap.

Sending you all lots of :grouphug:

So glad there is no physical problem Claire - that's half the battle. Hopefully, you won't have to wait too long for the child psychologist. The girls both saw the child psychologist in Chippenham when they first came to live with us and we only had to wait 3 weeks or so for the appointments.

big hugs Claire, I am pleased to hear there are no physical problems, I hope you dont have to wait to long for an appointment x

I'm so pleased the blood tests were all fine Claire and good luck with the psycologist

Claire relieved that your worry about the doctors was unfounded.
Hoperfully Cara will be referred quickly so that you can be back to your normally bouncy self :grouphug:

Just caught up with this Claire, so glad everything physical turned out ok, and good luck with going forward with the psycologist:hug:
