Try this Dollar Car Rental Code

I found this code from a Orlando Visitors guide book and hadn't seen it posted here or on Mousesavers (I shared the code with Mary and she has now posted it). Over the last month it has consistently come down from a base price of 196.98 to 179.49. Cheaper than any other code posted for my dates.

Economy car (there are only 2 of us but I still might up-grade?)

I can only see this rate go lower as the closer I get to the departure date. I haven't booked yet, waiting for it to go even lower.

This is a warning to any Dollar/Thrifty customers. I rent a car almost every week. I have used every rental company imaginable. I rent on average 150 days per year. I am having a huge problem with Thrifty/Dollar. They are trying to charge me for damages. It's a long story but to make it short they are saying that I caused a gouge and it completely rusted out in 30 hours. If you rent from them make sure you inspect the car and take pictures before you leave. Have an employee walk with you too.

If the car has been recently washed and is still wet, wait till it dries. Rental companies often do this because when a car is wet, the scratches and dings are much harder to see.

This is just a warning. I will never rent with Thrifty/Dollar again. I just wanted to let others know.

In "Dollars" defense: I also have rented with them several times over the last few years and have not had any problems with them. And also recieved a lower rate than with other companies.

I do agree you should be aware of any exterior defects of your vehicle before you leave, and take notes so they can't stick you with an unwarranted bill and you can back up your claim. This should go without saying for any car rental company.
