Hi, I see there are some older reviews on Trunkis here but has anyone used one recently? We are bringing a pushcair for dd but thought a trunki with her own stuff would be nice, also might help during long layover as a toy.

Please let me know if anyone here has used one to go to WDW or another long trip...I appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!
:)

Our DD had one for last trip at 22 mths. It was good for her to have her own stuff and it helped occupy her at the airport by taking her for rides round the departure lounge.

We will be taking it again:thumbsup2

DD loved hers, she used it when they first came out (to big now) will be purchasing a new one for DS, the only problem I had which may be due to my bad driving :thumbsup2 is that she used to take peoples legs off when riding it lol.

we have one for my dd we used it last year on a trip to majorca made the long trudge through marble flooored corridors to gates and exits a lot quicker and kept her occupied

They are great! The only problems we have had is when DD wants to pull it herself in a crowded airport, and also, I find opening it on the plane a little awkward. DD was about 20 months when we first used it, she will be three when we go this year.

My ds and dd have them and they are fab they love them, they have both been using them since they were 2

Thanks everyone. I think I'll get one. DD loved playing with the sample one at the store today!

Anything to ease the travel sounds good to me!:cool1:

My DD wants one too - but I've told her at 15 she's far too big:rotfl2:
They look a great idea to me for little ones though.:goodvibes

I had to Google "trunki" to figure out what you are talking about. That looks so cute and like a lot of fun for a toddler! My concern would be that your DD would zoom around the airport tripping and bumping into people. You would also not be allowed to bring it into any Disney parks.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll certainly look into the deals.

And no, I won't bring it into WDW parks...lol.
:)

We had one for DD (5) which we will be using for DS(3) on our October WDW trip. We bought DD one of the new Trunki boostapaks which she can't wait to use. Using the boostapak for DD will save a few $ on car seat hire for her. Also I'm not sure how easy it would be at the airport if they both had the siutcases - 2 kids on trunki suitcases, a pushchair and a trolley full of luggage :scared1:
