My husband and I watched all the episodes this weekend and were instantly hooked. Can't wait for the rest of the season. Who else has been following it? Do you have any theories?

We have watched, but really have no particular theories yet. Initially I thought Cole was being interviewed in prison because of the shirt and t shirt he's wearing & the wall behind him. Now we know he lives behind a bar, so that answered that. McConnaughey is heartbreaking in this in a completely different way from his Dallas Buyers' Club role.

The style of storytelling has made it challenging to follow, but we want to follow it because it seems like it's pretty high quality and the fact you don't really know where you're going is kind of a relief.

I have been enjoying this. Its suppose to be like American Horror Story in that they will have a different crime every year. I missed having a new one this week.

That will be fun! I'm entranced watching those two talk and act. They are amazing and have both turned into great actors. If you haven't watched, do it. You will not be disappointed. caveat: not for children

This is some great tv, isn't it? Terrific actors, a compelling story from one episode to the next, what's not to like?

He lost tons of weight for Dallas Buyers Club. It's possible filming coincided.
Is there a good deal of info about a murder of a child that will haunt me?

I've been watching. I find it compelling but maybe a little draggy at times. I think the acting is fantastic, though. I have no theories on the case.

There wasn't a new one this week, was there? I guess because of the Superbowl. At least we got a new Downton.

No theories either. But the acting is pretty mesmerizing. Matthew is thinner than he used to be, but he's also older.

We're loving this show. Is it going to be a completely different cast next season? I'm not even really a fan of either of the leads, but they're great in this. Best theme song too.

Very high quality show. Love that I don't know where it's going.

This is a very dark show and it's been a little challenging for me. I think particularly now because work has been a little rough lately and I'm in serious need of distraction on that front and this show is probably not a good idea for me at this time. I also found this week particularly gruesome which isn't helping either.

I am watching and OMG it is such a good show. The acting is phenomenal. I cannot wait to see how it plays out. The show does take a lot of thought...I have read that there are some ties to a writer that many folks had to read in HS and college...Ambrose Bierce ..I haven't read him...and a writer named Robert Chambers. My DH halfheartedly watches each episode (half asleep) and then asks me tons of questions. I finally had to yell at him that he needed to really pay attention every second...he didn't even catch that they were going from 1995 to 2012.

I had not heard that. Game on. This is a fabulous idea I wish more shows would think about, to avoid the burnout, ever more improbable stories & the inevitable destruction of a show you loved.
