Trouble with written confirmation

I made my reservation months ago for Dec. and have never received a written confirmation. I have called about five times and still do not have one! Is this unusual? Anything else I can do? Should I be worried?

Did you make this with Disney? I have to say that sounds strange to not get a confirmation. I get a new one even if I just call to tell them non smoking, or make a building preference. If you used a travel agency then that may be something they dont send out until you are closer to your travel date.

this is sid from the DRC. question; did you make this reservation over the phone, or online, or did you make this with a travel agency? pending how you made it, and pending on when you asked, it takes about 7-10 business days to get mailed out. getting a written confirmation isn't required, but as long as you have a confirmation/reservation number, then we'd be able to show that you have a reservation with us.

If you booked directly with Disney, you should be able to pull up your reservation by registering online (if you're not already) and entering your confirmation # and phone #.

Disney has been very bad about sending out confirmations. I never received a confirmation until I made a minor change. Then I received a modified confirmation. Add a request to your reservation. This might generate a modified confirmation.

I seem to get about half my confirmations from Disney. I write down the numbers they give me and don't worry about it. I have only had one problem checking in and that was because the CM kept typing in my name wrong into the computer.

we have room only resevations for Spring 2006. I made them early this summer with disney over the phone and have requested written confirmations twice ... still do not have it, but everything is correct online so I guess I should have no worries. What is strange is that I did get written cofirmations for my december trip comming up right away when I made those resevations last month (99 days to go till we are in the world again!)

Thanks for the imput. I printed off what was on-line.( Why did I not think of that?) It still does not include price or anything. I do feel better now........
You would think Disney could do better, but I will not let anyone steal the Magic of seeing my Nephew's eyes when he first sees the castle! I have been telling him about it for seven years now!

I never receive any confirmation anymore either. I just go to the website and print them now just to have something in writing. I do like that all of my itineraries are located under my name now. Also is you don't see it, there's a place you can put in the number and pull it. I had to do that with the package I brought for my grown kids. Not a problem. As long as you called and the CMs checked the computer and all looks good, I wouldn't worry.
