I could not get a coupon to print at all, no matter which printer I tried to use. My mom went to get her free sub and after hassle, they made her one which she said was had half the filling of the ones she normally gets there.
I have heard it was something corporate pushed but the franchises didn't want it, so they are rebelling against corporate... but the people who suffer are the people who will NEVER go back after such rude treatment!
I couldn't get it to print, either. So I print-screened the coupon, pasted it into paint and printed it that way.
Had no problems using it- the manager was super nice! (And didn't ID us!)
So nice DH got a ton of extra stuff we hadn't planned on (soup, cookies, etc) specifically because of how great our experience was with the manager.
You're right though. If it hadn't worked, I'd never go back. Ever.
Instead, we had a great experience and we'll probably be back soon!
I asked if it was the manager's decision and the employee said "Nope, it was the big boss's" and then he laughed.
We gladly got back in the car and drove across the street to Five Guys and paid to have the world's best hamburger and fries and friendly customer service!
