Trouble spotting fellow Dis'ers

Has anyone had any issues spotting, or being spotted by fellow dis'ers? I went in August and didn't see any others...

If a fellow DISer wears the green ribbons displayed on his person, or if they wear a DIS shirt, I will probably see them. I wear them myself and I am always on the look out for others. On all trips but one, I have been spotted. Every single time, someone saw the ribbons tied to the back of my waist pouch, not the DIS pin worn on my blouse, or they spotted the DIS t-shirt, also from the wording on the back. I'll be there this coming Wed. thru next Monday - look for me!

I had a ribbon on my croakie and had the "home depot Mickey" on my hat. I was there for 10 days and didn't see nor was I spotted.

It's a darn shame, I'll just have to keep going back and trying It's a tough sacrifice, but someone has to do it!

What's a "croakie"?

It's a strap that holds your glasses to your head. Helpful in ToT and RNRRC.

When we were at WDW for 2 weeks in July, I wore my DIS pin the whole time and no one spotted me..

I just returned yesterday. I spotted Canadian Disney Nut on the bus at Pop Century but the bus was so full all I was able to do was say "hello". I hope to see more Dis'ers when I'm there in January.

Could someone plse. give more details on the lime green Dis shirts, Home Depot Mickey pins, and green ribbons. We are leaving on Thursday and would love to meet other Diser's. I am soooo loving this site. I feel like I'm home.

I actually have to leave right now but the Home Depot Mickey is a lime green color swatch from their Disney Collection. I forget the name of it though. I think it is for a Buzz light year design. Anyway, you can't miss it in the swatches there.

I put my username on it, laminated mine and put that on my hat.

I met many DISers on our recent trip. A few times I had on my lime green DIS t shirt but I get noticed almost as much with my DIs pin (hint, I wear mine close to my face rather than further down).

Still think my idea of a lime green sun visor with built in DIS detector is a wonderful idea. (DIS shop owners - I promise NOT to sue you if you use my idea however I would like a free hat) LOL
