Thank you!!There were a handful of listings when I bought 2 weeks ago, but those may have sold out already. I got mine for just under $200, and that seller had 4 in stock at the time.

Yep, got the same for July trip. Normal work like this never bothers us, it's stuff that has to be done. Plus I got the email warning Stormalong Bay will be closed during our stay (1st week July) but I'm hoping they are just protecting their own interests as it was previously reported to be done in June. Fingers crossed!
Not overly worried, as we have a water view booked, and I assume the maintenance will be focused on the front of the resort. My only question is, if the porte chochere is closed........how will one enter the resort from the front?Yep, got the same for July trip. As the email you posted indicated the porte cochere will be closed but you will be able to enter and exit via the front doors, and have access to all services. When they have redone the porte cochere at other resorts, they did the work in sections so the front entrance was always accessible. My only question is, if the porte chochere is closed........how will one enter the resort from the front?
Yes, I did read that part. I was just wondering how it would work. When Dolphin was reworking theirs they skrimmed off sections of the area. The email implies full closure so one would expect the worst but because it also says everything will still function my expectation is it will be more like walking through a Disney work zone- noisy and impeded views, but clean and safe with well noted walkways through the area. Not overly worried, as we have a water view booked, and I assume the maintenance will be focused on the front of the resort. I feel so bad for you! That’s a lot of money for very upsetting. If it is that upsetting I would be on the phone to Disney today to find out if you can get 5 rooms at another resort. The sooner you get on this, the better. (If Disney can’t help and you are still upset give Swolphin a call at their in-house number and see if they have anything available. They have special rates for multi-room bookings sometimes by calling.)… this was unexpected. And VERY upsetting. … I don't expect perfection but why disrupt summer visitors so much?

I'm working with an agent and we do have backup reservations at another resort - which we did because of the uncertainty of the pool. Thanks for your response - and I did suspect summer isn't as busy as it used to be.When Dolphin was reworking theirs they skrimmed off sections of the area. As for why summer visitors- they gotta do it at some point and summer is a slower season now. Rough there wasn’t more notice.
There is a high probability that it will open by 6/30.We are checking in 6/30 and I was feeling really confident SAB would be open but not so much now.
We really don't have any additional details on other work on the front side of YC before, during the Porte Cochere work or after. This has been going on over at the Yacht Club side for now. Is it just painting or is it siding and / or roofing?
They assigned rooms during the work on the siding / painting / roofing on the Crescent lake side. The balconies were available unless the workers were standing or working on your balcony. Yes even with all the scaffolding just outside.Do they not assign off the rooms where the scaffolding is? We requested a full balcony - it it possible it will effectively be unusable because they will be working right outside?
Ouch. And still have to pay full price - no discount offered. Times 5 rooms. Happy 50th anniversary - it will break my families heart - especially the grandkids - but seriously considering cancelling the whole thing. I don't what this to be our last Disney memory. Had they told us this before today we would have rethought the whole trip. No one wants the Swan/Dolphin again (been there last 3 or 4 times) and we're not excited about the Boardwalk either yet we want the Epcot / HS area. They assigned rooms during the work on the siding / painting / roofing on the Crescent lake side.
