Trouble purchasing new tickets from Disney website- Seems unavailable?

Can new tickets still be purchased on the Disney website?? Trying to buy 5-day tickets for a newly planned on-site November trip but no matter where I click, the ticket page doesn't seem to come up.

We typically go to Disney each year. We had a March 2020 on-site trip planned. Family of 4 had 1 AP and 3 7-day park hoppers purchased for that trip (AP ready to be activated on that trip, thus hasn't been activated yet). We have re-booked for spring 2021 and have the AP and 3 7-day park hoppers "banked". I recently booked a room-only reservation for Thanksgiving, with AP discount just released, and am looking to purchase 5 day tickets for use in November. I would like to keep our current 7-day park hoppers for use next March. Ideally in this situation I actually would like to upgrade the 7-day PH's to AP's but since they aren't allowing that I would like separate 5 day tickets for the rest of the family for November. Am I missing something in regards to purchasing new tickets? Is it not being allowed? I really don't want to use our existing tickets in November- we would lose 2 days and waste the PH.

2020 tickets are available. It’s a different link from 2021 tickets. I was just able to select 5-day one-park-per-day tickets for November.

Far from being "very odd," it is actually (and unfortunately) a very common problem.
(AND, it can be the OPPOSITE situation, too.)

I had the same problem when I was trying to access the Park Reservation System. I kept trying for couple days and I even posted on here. What I noticed, I would go to Disney site and i was still logged in from before so I could navigate to the rsvp page but when I tried to choose my park the page wouldn't load, after couple days of this the site eventually made me log in again to proceed and then everything worked great. So im thinkn there is an issue with the Remember Me where it allows u to stay logged in but after a day or so it dosent really recognize u to make bookings even though it seems ur still logged in. Try going to the site, go to sign out and log off ur account and then sign back in with ur email and password and see if this fixes ur issue, it did for me.
