My DH, my twin and his soon-to-be wife are all heading down to WDW in June. We're trying to finish up our dining ideas so when it's my 90 day mark, we're good to go. We're on the dining plan and so far have these ideas

Monday (arrival) either Chip n Dale @ Garden Grille or Big River Grille (D)
Tues (MK) Crystal Palace (B):yay:
Wed (AK) .....HELP :confused3
Thurs (E) Garden Grille or BRG (basically whichever one we don't go to on Mon for D)
Friday (HS) Sci-Fi Drive in

Here are my issues:
1-Still debating on when we should do the GG or BRG. We'll probably be checked in by 3 and have to go to a park to get our tickets exchanged (military passes have to be exchanged at a main entrance). I'm thinking GG...make sense??

2-I have no idea about Wednesday. We were thinking Maya Grill but haven't heard many good things about it. We figure since AK closes at 7 we'd just have a late dinner.

Any suggestions?? TIA!

I think I'd go with the Garden Grille on your arrival day. The one time we ate at the Big River Grille, we were less than enthused. It wasn't awful, but it was just OK. Sort of unclean. Y'all may love it. On your AK day, you've got all sorts of options if you're leaving the park. Since you've got a couple of buffets/family style restaurants picked, I'd go with somewhere like Kona, Grand Floridian Cafe, The Wave, or if you want to check out Downtown Disney, we're pretty crazy about Raglan Road.

Have fun!

You might consider Planet Hollywood on Wed. If you are leaving the park you could go to Downtown Disney and enjoy it there. We have done Planet Hollywood the last two years and it has been good.

If you go to the dining review page, someone did a review of Maya Grill very recently. They liked it so much they went back a second time during their stay.

I would definitely go to Ohana on the day you visit AK, since it closes early, you can go to Ohana at Polynesian, and it you sit by the window, you can view the wishes fireworks from the restaurant, or go to the beach and see them. Ohana is our family favorite!

Thanks! I was considering the Maya Grill, and couldn't really find much info on it. I'll have to check the review. I'd really like to check out a resort restaurant anyway so I'm going to look more into that and Ohana. Thank you all :)
