Disney Cruise Line® - Important Information
Tropical Storm Update

Guests sailing August 14th and 15th that have questions regarding their voyage and the affects of Hurricane Charley should be aware that the safety of our guests and crew is always our first priority at Disney Cruise Line, and we continually monitor a storm’s progress through the National Weather Service. Based upon the current projections of the storm’s path, we do not anticipate a need to alter our operations for our weekend departures from Port Canaveral, FL. Should weather conditions change, our Captains can alter the ships’ course or itinerary for the safety and well being of our guests.

Could you plesae give me the DCL link so I may check for any notices regarding the cruises departing this weekend. thanks

Thanks for the site - I thought that was it but didn't see anything regarding notices or updates. I'll check again.

It is a pop up, so if you have a pop-up blocker on your system, you need to disable it for the DCL web site.

Good luck on this weekend!

Ah ha! - the blocker; that was the problem - thanks, I never would have thought of that! I am hoping for good luck this weekend - we'll do our best.

The news station in Orlando, just reported that Port Canaveral is closed for boats going in and out right now.
The port reported that they are aware that two cruise ships are supposed to be pulling in at 6am tomorrow morning. They will try to get the port open before that , but they will have to inspect the facilities before allowing either ship to dock.

This station has a live feed of the news coverage.

I understand that DCL are still advising that the Magic will be sailing out of Port Canaveral tomorrow evening, but they have pushed back the sail time to allow others to get into Orlando to make it to the ship. Instead of 5:00pm, the Magic is now scheduled to sail at 6:30pm. If you have any questions, DCL has set up a phone line that is supposed to be open around the clock tonight and tomorrow. The number is 407-827-2114.
