Tropical Palms?

Has anyone stayed in the Tropical Palms cottages recently? ( they are located in an RV park near Disney) The exterior pictures look nice, but I can't find any interior ones. Thanks!

Hi-

I have not stayed at Tropical Palms recently but did stay in 1998 and 1996. Both times the interiors were very pleasant and furnished nicely. The only problem we encountered was in 1998 and it was bug related-there were wasps around (they must have known about the problem because there was wasp spray under the bathroom sink) and my niece also complained about bugs in the loft space.

We really like this place alot but I prefer to stay on property so that is why we hve not been there recently!

i stayed there 2 years ago and loved it! the dishes were dusty and i washed them before using but that was the only "fault". it was clean, semi private, fairly quiet, easy in and out onto the highway and.....not too far from disney, close to restuarants and a grocery store HTH!! going again feb. 2 2003......can't wait! vegies

I stayed at Tropical Palms in October of last year and loved it. We had a two room cottage and it had plenty of room as there were only 3 of us. The bedrooms are very small but that leaves more room for the living/dining area. Everything was clean and neat but if you're looking for "fancy" this isn't it. Each cabin had a deck with picnic tables and chairs and a full kitchen. I would definitely stay there again as the cabin was nice and so was the atmosphere. Also, they have a snack stand that serves a nice breakfast for about $4. Great for getting an early start. Hope your friend likes it as much as I did.

Tropical Palms was on the news all weekend here in Central Florida - 2 young sisters (12 & 9 year old) from Georgia got permission from their parents to take a walk on the nature trail adjacent to the resort at about 4:30pm yesterday (told to be back in 30 minutes), and promptly got lost in the woods! Temperatures here dropped into the low 30's last night, and the girls were just wearing light windbreakers. There were big search teams, the "Amber Alert" was activated, etc., but they were found today unharmed, thank God!

Great place! Stayed there in September of 2001 and would do it again in a heartbeat..

Soooooo much better than a hotel room - it's like coming "home"..
