It's going to be interesting as to what it will do. My (totally unscientific) prediction is it will hit around Jacksonville on Tuesday as a Category 2 hurricane.

That would definitely mess up the shuttle launch scheduled to retry on Tuesday!

The talk down here in south Florida is to watch it because it looks like it maybe following Jeanne's path.

With the 8:00 p.m. advisory it's been upgraded to a Tropical Storm, now named Franklin.

Looks like those of us on the Atlantic Coast will have to keep a wary eye on this one.

I live in the SW section of the state & am going to Orlando (for Universal) M-F of next week. I was going to drive up to see my Mom & Sister this weeked & surprise them...stay with them till Monday, then head back down towards Universal (they live in Palm Coast, just between Daytona & Jacksonville)... I may not be doing that now??? I hadn't even realized it was going to come this close to the state. Maybe next Friday when I check out, I will drive up to see them instead.
