I read today that Tron cast previews were happening Feb 3-6 (it was on a random blog, so who knows if accurate?). Are those types of previews limited to parks and resorts cast only? I am a cast member but not parks or resorts and will be at WDW for two of those days - just curious if there was a chance I would be eligible to participate in the preview and, if so, how does one sign up for that?

3-6 Feb is for MK cast members only. The rest of us get to sign up on 30 Jan for days after that. Here are the rules:

Each Florida-based or Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort full time, part time or seasonal (temp recurring) Cast Member, Imagineer or Employee (whether currently working or furloughed) with a valid Company-issued ID is eligible to register for this Cast preview experience. Florida-based Cast Members refers to those Cast Members, Imagineers and Employees with Company-issued IDs with work locations within the Walt Disney World® Resort area, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney Reservation Center. The Disney Human Resources department will resolve all eligibility questions and such determinations will be final.
