TRON is the greatest ride I’ve ever ridden at Disney (or any other park). Mind-blowing.

We rode it today via a 7am VQ on our MK reservation day. Boarded at 6:30. Fantastic at night.

We are here 3 more days and want to go on TRON once or twice more. Could really use your help:

Park Hopper: None of the 3 remaining park reservations are for MK, they are for EPCOT, HS, and AK. Can we use our park hopper feature to get on Tron somehow? If so, how? Can we make a 7am ILL$ reservation? 1pm VQ but after 2pm?

Christmas Party: We have tickets for the Friday evening party at MK, our park reservation day originates at EPCOT. Is there a VQ window for Christmas Party attendees? ILL$? If so, what time and when do we try for one?

TRON is amazing. Have to go again. Thanks!

Wow! You got a boarding group in the morning drop, and your group wasn’t called until… had to be sometime after 5 pm, right?

Wonder when the 1 pm VQ boarding groups began getting called?
I suspect the later boarding groups got stiffed, as their time got pushed past park close. 🤷‍♀️😏 There’s no way that if morning groups were riding @ 6:30 pm, all of the afternoon groups got called.

I would definitely be very unhappy if I had managed to get a VQ in the 1 pm drop, and then waited all afternoon and evening, only to get told “sorry, park closes soon, so we’re not going call the rest of the groups.”

I think that an hour before park close, they should just call all remaining groups. After all, they allow you to get in the standby queue at other rides right up to closing. And no matter how many are in the queue at that time, they cycle thru them all. It seems only fair to let everyone who holds a boarding group the chance to get in line during that final hour too. Why do I feel like there would suddenly be a lot of mysterious ride malfunctions shortly after closing though?

Glad you enjoyed the ride. I’m looking forward to getting to ride it next year. I’m just afraid I’ll be disappointed that it is so short… I’ve heard it’s just shy of 1 minute long? It’s a long time to wait for a ride that’s basically over before it’s begun.

I know how you feel though. I had basically the exact same reaction after riding Guardians. I could just stay on that ride and go over and over. I LOVED it !!

It’s not just the ride itself, it’s the lead up, it’s really cool.

And, yes, 7am VQ of 102 got us called to the ride at 5:30 and we launched at 6:30.
