Tron in flip flops?

Silly question, but has anyone ridden Tron in flip flops? I’m looking at how your feet are placed when on the ride, and wondering if it would work with your toes bare. I pretty much live in flip flops during warm weather, and would hate to have to wear different shoes for 1 ride. TIA

I did it in Birkenstocks (Arizona 2-strap style) no issues, you can put your feet/toes onto the supports so the shoe dont have anywhere to slide off

I haven’t ridden but cannot see it being a problem as so many wear flip flops or sandals to the park and the discussion has not been raised.

I would assume any Disney ride that requires a specific type of footware would have that noted at the entrance to the ride. That type of footware seems common for many at Disney, while I personally don't like wearing them I do see many others who do. Also assume others who had issues would have been discussing it here once the ride opened and never seen any threads about that.

I wore crocs, would not foresee an issue with flip flops.

I wore flip flops. No issues at all.

I wore mule sandals and remember thinking that I hoped they didn’t fall off when I boarded. I’ve ridden twice and it wasn’t an issue either time.

Flip Flop Crew Rise Up. I wear them all the time. They're no issue on Tron. Forbidden Journey was tough though, now I take them off every time.
