We are set to sail on the Wonder Oct. 17-21. Does my husband have to wear a jacket to dinner at Triton's, or is just a shirt and tie acceptable?

In both Tritons and Lumiere's, my husband wore a shirt and tie, unless it was the formal or semi-formal night, then he wore a suit jacket.

At Tritons - for both times we have been on the Wonder - My hubby wore Polo shirt, kahkis, and birkenstocks. We don't own any ties. He probably went a bit far w/the sandals, but most of the men did wear polo shirts.

Both times I was on the Wonder I wore a shirt and tie at Tritons. But they will not turn you away, what ever you are wearing.

Wear whatever he looks nice in and is comfortable. My husband wore a short-sleeved shirt and tie (no jacket). We saw many men wearing polo shirts. No one was over-the-top dressed up. We did the land/sea package and didn't want to have to worry about packing the jacket. Enjoy the cruise!!! :wave2:

My husband typically wears a tie and jacket, but he is in the minority. We both enjoy getting dressed up when we cruise, and in theory Triton's is the dressiest of the "regular" restaurants. But it's pretty much a matter of doing what you want...men in dress casual will not feel at all out of place.

Thank you!!! That's what I thought but in the info that came with our documents it said men were required to wear a jacket at both Palo and Tritons.

When we went on the Wonder cruise in 2001, my husband wore a jacket and tie the first night at Tritons (we had two rotations at that restaurant). Personally since it is still kinda warm, I think "resort casual" is right down the middle. Resort casual consists of a collared shirt with dress khakis/slacks and comfortable shoes (not sandels, but could be clean tennis shoes). Think Tiger Woods on the golf course. This works well because you won't stick to the seat as you would wearing shorts.

I wore a comfortable cropped pantsuit. I don't like to wear pants, shorts or skirts. I'm in capri's or cropped pants 90% of the time. My pantsuits were made of silk. Inexpensive and comfortable, but beautiful. I'm not a skinny minnie; I purchased the outfits at Catherines.

~Hope that helps.

We ate at Triton's our first night onboard. My husband wore a nice long sleeve shirt and a pair of Dockers. I don't think he looked out of place, but to be honest, I didn't really look around to see what anyone else was wearing.
