I have scrimped, couponed, saved change, worked two part-time jobs (a long with having 16-20 credit hour quarters at school for the last year and a half), as well asking to be scheduled a lot more this summer.... to pay for this upcoming "free dining" trip (all while battleing some major health challenges)! :)

Today as I posted on a another thread I was THRILLED to see my countdown ticker read "triple threes"... 3 months, 3 weeks, & 3 days until WDW! :goodvibes

It seems "real" now for some reason! :lovestruc I cannot wait to see the World again!

We are not upgrading from QS to DDP as the cost (coupled with tips) just cannot be justified, I can get my entire ECV vehicle rental paid for with the money that would take. Any suggestions (on a park by park and/or resort) of excellent places to use the QS credits?

Before we mainly used ours at the resort and had left overs. We did do Cosmic Rays, Toy Story Pizza, Pecos Bills, and the BBQ at Animal Kingdom) before but that is about it.

As counter service is the only food we will be getting, we wanted to make the best choices! Please help us plan! We are doing 1 day @ AK, 2 @ Epcot, 3 @ DS, and 4 @ MK as well as one day at DTD! :goodvibes

TIA! :flower3:

Congrats on your trip! Hop on over to the Restaurant thread--there are many posts on how to get the best value out of the QSDP (including recommended snacks!). I love the QSDP--it's great for my family with young kids. Personal favs include Wolfgang Pucks Express and Yak and Yeti. Enjoy and have fun! PS-I've done the QSDP 2x so far and have never paid for any food in Disney OOP.

I second Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney's Marketplace. Table service quality/variety/quantity for a counter service credit. Good portions and good eats at the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs as well. We also like the Tangerine Cafe at the Morocco plaza in EPCOT and Columbia Harbor House in the Magic Kingdom.

This is the food court by Soaring in Epcot.
Not typical counter service- fresh salad with seared tuna, chicken dinner, chinese foods, fresh subs. Deserts to die for- esp key lime tarts.
Cathy:thumbsup2

Here are my favorites at each park and DtD:

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot
Columbia Harbor House at Magic Kingdom
Flametree BBQ at Animal Kingdom
Nothing good at DHS - they REALLY need to work on that

Earl of Sandwich at DtD
