Trip w/DD and DS, ticket questions

Hello -

I'm taking a trip with my daughter (12) and son (10) to UA/IOA in three weeks. I'm really excited about this trip, but also a bit nervous as this is the first time that I've taken a solo vacation with them, my DH is staying home with our two little ones. I made DD and DS a deal that if they read Harry Potter (to encourage them to become readers) then I would take them to WWoHP. My sister has a conference in Orlando and we get to stay with her at Disney's Yacht Club for free - yay!

Anyway - I have a couple of questions. My plan was to purchase tickets from undercovertourist for a four day park to park pass. I will have a car down there, so I'm not sure if I should get one AP to cover parking and to get the additional 10% of souvenirs and such (and this doesn't include walk-up food stands, correct?). If I do purchase an AP, my understanding is that I can get a 15% discount on the other tickets, but from the prices that I've found, it is more expensive to do that than purchase them online from undercovertourist.

Also, do I need to have some kind of ID for the kids? If so, what do I need?

And - when you park at UA/IOA - are you able to leave and come back for the one fee per day or do you have to pay every time you enter the parking garage?

I've been reading, reading, reading this board, have read the 2011 Universal book, and have really tried to educate myself. I just wasn't completely sure about the tickets and I want to purchase them soon if I'm getting them online.

Yes...you will get free parking (after the first visit) and 15% off additional multi-day tickets and 10% on single day tickets...up to six additional tickets. You have to have an activated AP to do so. Food carts are not included in the discounts. Keep in mind with the tickets from UndercoverTourist, you don't get free parking or the discounts and those will add up.

Also, do I need to have some kind of ID for the kids? If so, what do I need? No IDs are needed for minors.

And - when you park at UA/IOA - are you able to leave and come back for the one fee per day or do you have to pay every time you enter the parking garage? Yes...you can come and go throughout the day. Just keep your receipt so you don't get charged again.
