Wonderful photos Shep! I can see why you were going crazy when you thought you had lost your trip thread. I grew up in NC and we used to spend a lot of time in the Smokey Mountains in both NC and TN, and it truly is a beautiful area. Glad you had a great time.

Shep! I am so mad at you! If you ate breakfast at the Carriage House and dinner at Texas Roadhouse, then you drove past my house! I thought you were going to be in PF or Gatlinburg? Did you stay in Townsend? Good grief. I had a bridal shower to attend that day and some other things going on but heck...you all were sooo close. I am mad at me too. LOL

Your pictures are great. I think I am a very lucky girl to live in the Smokies. I also think I take it too much for granted. Could I use one of those river pics for wallpaper?

We rarely stay in PF or Gatlinburg..
We ALWAYS stay at the Valley View...
There were 2 different East TN Meet threads out there.. ...I thought you were ignoring us.. ..NEXT time we're going meet up with you...We'll have the girls with us..

I saw the DIS meet threads but really was torn and ended up not posting to them...I didn't think I could work that morning & attend the afternoon shower and do church stuff Sunday and get to the Apple Barn. However, I could have done Townsend!
Shep, my parents used to own the Valley View...I grew up there! Wah! I could have met you and Believe. Next time you come, we're meeting. DD, Hunter, would love to play with your girls. Ugh! I should have asked more questions instead of assuming it couldn't be done. Come back this weekend... we'll have a meet, I promise! LOL Did Boots make the meet? I bet she would have had an easier time getting to Townsend too. Wah! Wah! (I'm throwing a fit, can you tell?!)
