This year we're spending 2 we4eks in Orlando and 10 days travelling.

We're driving up to New Orleans.

Can anyone recommend a really nice hotel?

I can recommend the Hampton Inn Hotel Downtown as a good, clean mid-priced hotel, central enough to get you to most places. I was there for a week last year and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Check out this link for all the info you need on the city (where the food is just to die for!!):

We went to New Orleans two years ago. We stayed in a Sharwood hotel which was very central. It was a nice hotel and we booked it direct via the internet and got a really good price. We loved New Orleans. If you are there on a Sunday you must have brunch at Brannigans. Its a jazz brunch and a real family affair, you see whole families from grandparents to grandchildren all dressed up, its a great place with fantastic food. You should also try and do the cemetary tour (I know visiting cemetaries on holiday sounds weird) they are very interesting and our tour guide was brilliant. Its a fantastic place, very chilled out and relaxed.

What a fantastic holiday that sounds.

We went to New Orleans two years ago and it was brilliant. We stayed at the Landmark French Quarter, which was a really nice hotel.

There is loads to do, as someone said you should go on one of the graveyard tours they are brilliant, the Harrah's casino is good for food they have a dinner buffet every night which is just fantastic and they have a dessert called Bananas Foster, which really is to die for.

We went for a Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues and this was really good, we also have a meal at Buba Gump (as in Forest Gump) and that was realy nice.

There is a dinner that is in every guidebook which is absolutely fantastic, I can't reember the name but will look in my books tonight and post it tomorrow, it really is worth the visit, they cook burgers on hub caps.
