Trip this summer

I am planning a short trip this summer to check out the gazebo and Francs. Can you all tell me which park Francs is located? Can I just walk in or do I have to make an appointment. I plan on buying a cake server, a unity candle and whatever else I see that I just have to have.
Also, which of the all star resorts is best. I am thinking sports because my Fiance is a huge sports guy, but if there is a better one, we might consider it. We are trying to go as cheap as possible on this trip any money saving suggestions would be great too!! Thanks!!

Franc's is not located in a park. As far as I know it is on the GF property. You may need to make an appointment to make sure that someone is available to show you around the locations and answer any questions that you may have. If you are making a trip down there, you at least want to make sure that someone will be able to spend some quality time with you.

Congrats, I wish I could go down there before my wedding too!

Franc's is outside the GF, closer to the WP. You need to make an appointment thru FTW to get in there, as they don't have anyone manning desks there, or anything. As for merchandise, you have to go to the "Sandy Cove" store in the GF to find the wedding items. They don't sell any merchandise out of Franc's.

you do need to set up an appointment with a sales manager and I would do it as soon as possable because they are sooooo busy all the time. you shold let them know what locations you would like to see so they can set that up also.

The Wedding Pavilion and Frank's are a short walk away from the main building of the Grand Flordian. And yes, in order to get into Frank's you will need to make an apointment with a Sales Manager as now it is by appointment only.

Is there any benefit to having someone show me the site? I am having an intimate wedding and if franks is not an actual store, I am not sure that I need to go there. I could just go by the YC gazebo and check it out myself right?

Absolutely! My FMIL and FBIL went and took pics of the Gazebo for me at Thanksgiving and no one bothered them. They even went back the next day and saw a wedding!

I went and dug up this post. I am wondering, what actually goes on at Franc's. Is this just mainly a place for custom wedding people to make their plans? I am doing an intimate. Is there any reason I would want to go to Franc's when I am down there in a couple weeks?

Not really. You are correct, it is mostly where custom brides go to make their plans. If you are already in contact with FTW and have an SM or EM I can't see why you would need to go there.
