7 Day Eastern on Disney Magic!

3 adults and one child 23 months old! FYI Loved pressing ELEVATOR BUTTONS!! sorry!!!
Okay! So just got back from my very first cruise ever and it was on the Disney Magic!! So i don't have anything to compare it to! So here i go!!
Jan 19 we arrived at Vancouver International Airport to head to Orlando and we had problems. Disney assigned my daugther to all 3 adults flying with us so it took one hour for the Delta Airlines person to fix it because we couldn't board because it was the same infant assigned to 3 adults!! that made me mad!!! Other wise everything else fine!
Now in orlando at 5pm jan 19. Was spending the night at the Hyatt (right in airport) and that was great! Very nice service and nice clean room! Weather was sunny and for us Canadians (coming from snow) it was nice and warm. About mid 70's
Next morning going ot the ship! Everything was well organized! Bus trip and getting on the ship! We went straight to Parrot Cay to have lunch. Very nice buffet and the staff was ever so friendly!!! After lunch we walked around outside to see what everything looked like on deck 9 & 10 and then it was time for our room! so we got our rooms at 1:30pm and then shorlty after our luggage arrived! I had a basket done by Shirley for my 23 month old daughter and that was beautiful! She tore it apart before i could take a picture!!!! Weather again for us was warm but it was windy! Didn't swim on the first day!
For us being with a 23 month old we didn't DO as much stuff as we had planned but that's okay! We still loved the trip! I saw Twiced Charmed!!!! LOVED IT!! very nice! And saw Dreams and that was really nice too!
pools were pretty full almost every day except on Dock days. I noticed at around 4pm the pools cleared out pretty quick and assuming it was becuase people getting ready or dinners and what not. So we took advantage of that since we had late dinner which was at 8pm. So we enjoyed the pools with almost no one in them! Very nice!
St Maarten:
Weather was nice and hot but not so hot that your sweating all the time which was great! We were suppose to do the See & Sea tour but the SEA part got cancelled due to winds. Suppose to be a mini submarine ride for 45 minutes to see fish and stuff. Upset that got cancelled cause then it became just a tour of the island. Ended up being fine but my daughter fell asleep in the bus so i stayed on and only got off for the shopping part of the tour! hehehe So we had to be back on ship by 7pm. 730 came around and we then started to move. we were waiting for two people that never boarded and Captain Tom said we left them behind..... Yikes
St Thomas: w
e took it nice and easy at st thomas. weather again hot but not sweaty hot. WE did the Paridise Point and that was nice. Then we walked around and visited K Mart to buy some Alcohol ( nice and cheap there) then headed back to ship and went swimming! relaxing for us!
Other two sea days were nice and relaxing! enjoyed the sun and the breeze of the ocean!
now Castaway cay:
We had a day that was wasn't as hot and it was a bit cloudly for the first part of the day. The afternoon was great and the water was a bit chilly at first but once we were in we were fine!!! Enjoyed the music and dancing with the characters!!
Ride back was great and bus and getting luggage was so ORganized it was so fast to get back to airport!
Okay so we had room 2508 and it was at the front of the ship on Deck 2. Great room very nice and quiet and our room host DON was amazing! So friendly and my daughter loved him!! She was his princess!!!
Our server for dinner was MO from Indonesia and Assistant Server was Angelina from Chille! BOTH were awesome and gave excellent service and always made sure we were happy and loved our food which we did!
Staff on disney were amazing and so friendly. Regardless if you just walked by or was standing or sitting if they walked by they7 would stop and say hello and make sure you were enjoying your trip! Very nice and that standed out to me and my husband for excellent service!
HUbby and i went to Palo for early dinner once and enjoyed the food. Wouldn't say it was the BEST but it was really good!
But that's about all i can think about so if anyone has questions just message me and i will be glad to answer them!!
I'll post some pictures soon maybe later this evening when my little on is taking a nap or even in bed for the night!!
OH Yes before i forget! I used FLounders Twice for my daugther and never again. Kids were drinking from eachother bottles and my daugther was CRYING SO MUCH when we picked her up that she couldn't even breathe very well and they didn't even bother to page us. They said she was off and on like that the whole time but never paged us. I was really upset and said to them never again would i bring her here if i come disney again! That is pretty much the only DOWN Fall that we had and we were really upset!!!
sad to be back but happy at the same time! MISS MICKEY~~
