This is our last full day. Boy 3 days go fast! This morning we got up at 7am and left at 8am to go to MGM. This was not an early entry park, but they were letting in resort guests only early over by the far right hand side of the turnstiles. A CM was yelling this fact out. That was cool. We went to R&RC, then Tower of Terror. Next we had some breakfest at the Commisary Place. We then rode Star Wars, first for me. I liked it better than Body Wars, but they are similar. Next another first, The Indian Jones show. Benita loves Harrison Ford so we spent some time at the gift shop at the exit. Next we saw the Muppet Movie, then the Backlot Tour. After that I wanted to go look at the Animator's Store for some gifts. We then shopped in most of the gift shops on the way out. Oh and we bought the picture of us in front of the Big Hat. We both bought the most here, but it was our last day!

We took the boat back to BCV and it was about 1 or 2, so we had lunch at Beaches & Cream. We both had hamburgers. We sat at the counter. I was hoping someone would order the Kitchen Sink as we had a great view of the lady making sundaes!

After lunch Benita was feeling sick & needed a nap. I needed the SAB pool! So she slept & I went down to the pool with my noodle. This was the best 3 hours I think I had the whole trip! I found a lounge chair over in the sand area near the tube rental place. I laid out awhile, then rode the lazy river area a few times. Then I decided to go get my Pina Colada! I always get one by whichever WDW pool we are at. But had not yet this trip. It was delicious. Just then my DH called me on my cell phone. He had taken the boys to Lexington, KY to see their cousins for the night. He was staying at a Holiday Inn with 5 boys & my aunt & here I was lazing by SAB with a pool drink! Ahh yes, my husband is great! For taking such good care of the boys & understanding about my 3 night trip alone. Don't feel bad, my kids & DH were there over New Years, & in April of this year. But it was my first trip without them or my husband.

Well after this I went up & Benita was still asleep and feeling bad. She got up & I was wondering if she'd make it out tonight. We were going to watch Illuminations again. She wanted to go get some asprin, so we headed to the BC gift shop. The cm told her she probably had heat exhustion or dehydration. So she told her to get this one drink like gatoraide. Benita really felt better soon after the asprin & drink. She thinks the cm was right. So we headed over to our PS at Coral Reef. I had the jumbo shrimp alfredro & Benita had bbq pork chops. Well she didn't like the bbq sauce & only ate a few bites of it. She loved the rest of the meal. But the waiter noticed & she said it was good, just not the sauce. He offered her somthing else & she said no she felt like eating light tonight. Turned out he deducted her 27.00 meal from our ticket! How nice, but really we did not think we deserved that. So we over tipped a bit, even adding the 27.00 into the equation. We had the very delicious Chocolate Wave for dessert! I just love that!

I think we rode TT this night. And just mainly strolled around slowly. We shopped in Japan as my boys wanted Yugioh Cards. Also I got them a Test Track race track. I got my DH Geir in Norway. He gets a bottle every trip.

We sat in front of Japan, close to Morroco for Illuminations. This view was even better than last nights. I will never tire of this show. It was a great way to end our trip.

The next morning we left BCV at 6am to start the drive back home to Ohio. We got home at 9pm that night. No problems with the drive, just too darn long! We usually break up the 15 hours in 2 days, but Benita had to be back at work Monday Morning. I got home to a wonderful Mother's Day Card from my boys (ages 6 & 9). And they were all excited about their gifts.

I definately am glad I did this trip, but I did miss my guys. Benita is trying to figure a way to buy in DVC or at least go again!

Sounds like you had a great trip & even managed to hit all four parks. Did your friend like WDW? I bet she'll want to go again sometime.

I just joined DVC and am taking my first trip home next month. My home resort is BCV, but I couldn't get in there this time so we've got a 1BR at BWV. I'm also taking a friend/coworker who has never been to WDW before...also taking my DGD8 again.

I had to smile when you said your DH took your kids to Lexington, where I live. I'm assuming that they were at the Holiday Inn on Newtown Pike as it has an indoor pool, etc. This winter when we had the big icestorm and everyone's electricity was out, I took my mother (a cancer patient on oxygen) and my father there because it was one of the few places in town that had electricity. We were there about an hour when the electricty went out there too. Not the Holiday Inn's fault of course, but it was an adventure.

Thanks for the report!

Thanks Jennymouse! Yes my friend loved it. I knew she would. How could you not? :) I do think that is the Holiday Inn they went to in Lexington! We go down about 3 times a year and always stay there with all the kids (my 2 boys & their 3). Rowdy, but fun. They went to play Laser Tag in Lexington that night too. We really think Lexington is such a pretty area. I love looking at all the house farms & the new subdivision with the huge houses! My relatives actually live in Wilmore.

Have fun on your trip! It is fun taking 1st timers. You will love the BWV! We joined DVC in 2001 and it has been the best we've made.
