Hi everyone....we flew down to WDW Wed. afternoon on the 26th of Jan. Our flight was about 30 min. late leaving Baltimore but that was okay. We had no plans our first night. We stayed at SOG and was very impressed with the new renovations. We stayed there years ago and it is so much nicer. We stayed on the 5th floor of the new bldg.....rooms were very big.....clean.........bathroom was large. All in all...the hotel was very nice. The only down side to staying there....is the non Disney theming. I miss that....but for the price and location.......you can't beat it. The next day we went to MK for a PS at CP at 8:10......that was our first time dining there. The food was good and the character interaction was pretty good....we felt like it took them a long time to get around. We would eat here again. After breakfast we hit FL...and it was dead.........................we rode everything and somethings several times. Then we headed to Tomorrow Land and the lines were only 10 min. waits......we never did Stitch....for some reason that always seem to have a 25 min. wait. Carousel of Progress was opened and we did that. The transit authority was down for a while...but we also got that in. As the morning went on.....the crowds picked up....but we still managed to do all we wanted. FL got really crowded later on...with PP and Pooh having long lines of 30+ min. Toon Town was crowded......so we headed to FL. The wait for Splash was always like 5 min...with Thunder being more like 20...but we fast passed that most of the time. The kids rode each a few times that day. I got the kids some chicken from Harbor House because Ihad heard such good things about it......to me it was JUST OKAY. Maybe the other menu items are really good though. HM was only 5-10 or so min. too. We rode it twice too. We saw the parade that night followed by Wishes. This was our first time seeing Wishes. It was fantastic. We got a table at Casey's and had dinner there. We were pretty worn out our first day.....we were in MK for 12 hours. YIKES. I will report the next day tomorrow.

Wow, that's awesome that you spent 12 hours in MK. Sounds like a great day!

LOL it was a long day. I was sick with a horrible cold...but nothing popping motrin and sudafed didn't help. We got up at 6:30 that morning.. and left to walk to the Poly around 7:20 or so....then took the monorail. I had to wait for Guest Services to open at 8:00 or we could have gotten in for our PS earlier. I upgraded our 5 day park hoppers to 10 day hoppers with no exp. for just an additional 609 bucks. I had heard this was an excellent deal. It was. I had gotten our hoppes with a military discount....4 adult tickets and 1 child for 1075...so for just 609 more...I was able to get another 5 days. Anyway....after that we headed to CP for breakfast...and then we just stayed all day....we of course had small park breaks.....with snacks and lunch/dinner. We took the boat back to the Poly and ended up walking back to the hotel too...so it was a long day.

So it was me 42, hubby 40, daughter 14, son, 11 and son 6. The next day was tiring because we did EC and that is always a ton of walking...and of course my cold was in full swing too. I think I slept through part of space ship earth that morning.......LOL.
